The tensions to this day still run very deep between The Irish and the English. They are two of the most prominent groups of western people. This son of Europe can bear no more of this squabbling when western man and his land is on death's doorstep. I'm sure that our enemies love the fact that there are still tensions between the English and Irish, Germans / Slavs and Russians, Catholics / Protestants and the Orthodoxy. and I'm sure you could name a dozen more conflicts that Europeans are still holding a grudge over.
This needs to stop. We can all agree that within the West there are people and territories that are worth preserving, but what idiot can't see that there is a far greater threat to our existence than each other.
I use this St. Patrick's Day to call for a new relationship amongst western people. One that realizes that none of our ethnicity's are on an island. as one goes, so will the rest of Europe.
