gorgeous fast, athletic white girls! My personal opinion is Klaver has to change her tactics...she gets caught time after time as she cannot hold her speed for the 400m. Unless she is a setup person for Bol.

Lieke Klaver has shown time and time again she doesn't have the speed endurance of Bol. But I suppose if she goes out hard she thinks one day she may hang on for a win. They train together so she knows the situation one would think.

Rohan Browning gets his first ever run indoors over 60m in Belgrade, Monday 7th March

Collegiate Conference Championships this weekend, and the US Championships as well.

Mary Beth Sant Price is looking like the favorite to become US Champion in the 60m . . . if she's still on form.
Fingers crossed!

It's also the weekend of the German, U.K.(English), French and Spanish National Indoor Champs. There might be a few more but I think the Polish and a few
other countries are next weekend. Either way between here in the US and all around Europe it's gonna be fun to watch and track the results.

Matthew Boling is in the SEC Indoor Champs and he is entered in the 60 and the long jump. He is not entered in the 200 meters. He runs in the prelims of the
60 meters tommorow and he is in a tough heat. There are guys in other heats as fast as a 6.52 so Boling would have to have a massive personal bests to have
any chance of winning the 60. I do think and hope he can make the finals. I would be happy if he could p.b. around 6.55 regardless of his result at the finish line.
Boling just hasn't ran enough in the 60 meters to be enough of a serious threat to win here as he is not even close to the fastest guy. Hope he suprises us.

Nice to have 2 current Australian record holders in the ladies high jump - one for indoors, Eleanor Patterson 1.99m

One for outdoors, Nicola McDermott 2.01m here (2.02 at Tokyo)

It would be nice to see Eleanor clear that 2.00m mark this coming season too.

Matthew Boling runs a time of 6.59 in the 2022 SEC Indoor Championships Preliminary Round! That's a great time and he will run in the finals tommorow
along with competing in the Long Jump Competition. That's a new p.b. for Boling in the 60 meters. Way to go Matthew Boling! :)

Matthew Boling was the fastest qualifier in the heats and the SEC Indoor Championships, and . . .
likewise, Abby Steiner was the fastest qualifier in the women's heats - 7.17.

Wouldn't that be something if Matthew and Abby both become 60m champs of the SEC ?!?!

Let's see what happens!

Looks like WL you got your wish. Boling will not run the 200M instead his coach, wanting to lighten his load, has entered him in just the 60M and long jump. That stinks. I would have rather seen him run the 200M.
He finished second in the LJ?
He can't run 260M and LJ in one day. Really?

Trey Cunningham runs a new PB, and an ACC record, 7.40 in the heats of the 60m hurdles.
It is also the #2 all-time collegiate, and #2 in the world this year!

Very impressive stuff. Let's see what he does in the finals!

Redshirt freshman, Ryan Mulholland of Oregon, ran 6.62 in the heats of the Pac 12 Invitational.
A very good time.
Looking forward to see if he can improve in the finals.

I want them to lighten the load but not by taking away the 200 meters. Skip the 400 meters, long jump and relays except in the championships. The money and the fame
come outdoors and not indoors. If I were his coach he would not be allowed to long jump anymore or do the relays outside of championships. The same with the 400. Some
guys can do everything but very few. His weaknesses have been his start, drive phase and relaxing down the straight along with his form. If you fix these things he is going
to be making the Olympics and World Championships in the 100 & 200 meters. Happy he ran a 6.59 but he should have had alot of 60's this year. That was only his 3rd
60 meters indoors and the previous 2 were on the same day. I know he loves the long jump but he has to decide what he wants to do. If he chose the long jump it would
be very depressing for the sprint fans of the world and especially here at this message board.

Stoked to hear about Trey Cunningham. To run the 2nd fastest 60 meters hurdles race of all time in the NCAA is epic! What a talent he is!

Good to hear about Ryan Mullholland too. He is faster as a freshman that Boling was in his first 2 years of college. Amazing!

Steiner advances with a 200m time of 22.44, fastest qualifier over all. She is a gorgeous sprinter to watch.

Thanks for the video jacknyc. I just want to say in all my decades of watching track I've never seen a time adjusted that much slower than what the clock said.
The time clock said 7.37 yet they rounded it up to 7.40! Very strange and fishy in my opinion. World Class Performance. He should have had a time of
7.38 or 7.39 at the worst. I've never until today seen this much of an time adjustment up to a slower time. Not that 7.40 is slow. He was flying! :)

Adam Thomas and Andy Robertson finish 1st and 2nd at the British Indoor Championships, with excellent times of 6.56 and 6.58.
Too bad Charlie Dobson was a DNS. That could have been a 1,2,3 finish.

This is awesome. I'm even happier that Adam Thomas won as he is only in his mid 20's verse Robertson who I think is 31. Robertson has aged like a fine wine. The
guy is like the energizer rabbit. He keeps going and going. For some reason it rarely happens with white spinters. I think it's because they don't use peds as much in
my opinion. Yeah I agree it's a shame Charlie Dobson was a no show. Either way 2 of the 3 medals were our guys and we took the top 2 spots. This year is off to a
great start!

In the British Indoor Championships we forgot to add that the 5th place finisher was a 20 year old white sprinter by the name of Joe Chadwick! He ran
a time of 6.69 which for a 20 year old is very good and he did it against the highest level of competition with 3 rounds all in the same day. Joe Chadwick
might be another English Sprinter to watch out for. Here is a picture of him and he is the sprinter in the middle of the picture. :)

Sadly in the German Champonships today the men underperformed. Also Julian Wagner who I have high hopes for was a no show. Such a shame coming off a stellar
races just 2 weeks ago where Wagner ran very fast and he would have been one of the favorites to win today.

Kevin Kranz won the silver medal for our guys running a 6.60! Not bad but he won it last year with a lightning fast 6.52 so he should have run alot faster. All of the
other true german sprinters were out of the medals. Askovic was 4th and I was expecting him to make the medal stand.

On a happier note the German Females took 2 of the top 3 spots in the finals.

Gina Luckenkemper was 2nd running 7.20 and Sophie Junk was 3rd with a 7.22 time!

Trey Cunningham wins the ACC Championships in a very fast time of 7.42.
The kid is fast, and consistently so.
Let's see if he can improve when he comes up against stiffer competition at the NCAA Championships.

Cole Beck wins the ACC 200m and gets 3rd in the 60m.

Becks 200 meters win impressed me. He won easily and showed good speed endurance. The 60 could have been better but a top 3 isn't that bad.
Cole Beck is still only a junior in college. It seems like he has been there longer for some reason. Good luck to him at the ncaa nat'l champ indoors.

Abby Steiner finishes in 3rd place in the 60 meters finals at the 2022 SEC Champonships. Sad but she did run a 7.19 which isn't bad. She
has a p.b. of 7.12 and in the 60 if you don't get out of the blocks really good it's usually over most of the time.
