Since 2017, the Chanticleers have started 5, 9, 9, 8, and 7white athletes - making them one of the more historically palatable Sub Belt squads. They make an inexplicable drop to 3 this year along with a pretty brutal full roster- a dark turn under a historically fair-ish Jamey Chadwell. The main draw here is Senior and 3rd year starter Grayson McCall whose put up fairly consistent 2500+ yd 25+ TD campaigns the last two seasons.

Offense
Grayson McCall - QB

Defense
Shane Bruce - LB
JT Killen - LB

Key Two Deeps
Patrick McSweeney - TE, Jacob Jenkins - TE

What the hell do you think they pitch to their white recruits? If I was in such a position as a high school senior, frankly I'd rather walk-on at Clemson and pay in-state tuition (less the "NIL" benefits they arrange).

They don't believe in White OL! 2 LBs and a promising QB isn't enough to catch my interest.

I'll avoid the Sun Belt. Wannabe SEC scrubs.

That's what Hunter Renfro did. He was offered scholarships to FCS Appalachian ST., Wofford, and Gardner-Webb, but chose to walk-on at Clemson. He was in Coastal Carolina's back yard where he's from Myrtle Beach, SC and they didn't even offer. Well, he had the last laugh as he had a great career at Clemson and just signed a two-year $32 million contract extension with Las Vegas Raiders.

What a joke. McCall should be a first rounder next year a so I will follow him. These teams are all getting worse.
