Rams start off with four Whites on D. None of them are projected starters at this point, but still good to see. Troy Reeder is the only possible starter and he's in a battle with a few other ILBs.

I didn't see the game today. I just remember last year Pierce being in games moreso than Nall last year.
I didn't see the game either, but I viewed the HL's on youtube. The Nall 39 yard run was at the end of the game. So i don't know who came in the game first, but seeing Nall's run at the end didn't encourage me much. I don't have The NFL network so please keep us posted on Jake Funk those of you who have it.
Thanks

I hope this is the year Geno Smiff gets cut by the Seahawks. For all the talking heads whining about mediocre White QBs on rosters I never hear anyone complain about Smiff. If Wilson gets injured and Smiff becomes there starter that will be must see football from a comedic standpoint.

The Chargers took the opening kickoff and used up 10 minutes and 20 plays and settled for a field goal. Chase Daniel is starting for them with Herbert sitting out. So now the Rams will finally get the ball. . .

Xavier Jones starting at RB for LA. "Duck" Hodges is the QB.

BTW, the announcing crew for this game is pretty funny. Andrew Siciliano is the play by play announcer. I've always found his delivery on the NFL Network to be well over the top. There's a female color analyst, not bad but has a weak voice as so many female announcers do. Then there's some Black guy who pipes in, the kind who uses the word "man" at least once in virtually every sentence. Okay I guess for casual conversations, but not for a TV broadcast. Apparently they brought him in "off the street" with no training, just like the NFL does with RBs and other players.

Sounds about right. The Giants-Jets game sounded like there was a black announcer - hard to listen to them yammering in their english/ebonics language.

Funk was thrown a pass in the backfield on 3rd and 12 but was instantly swallowed up, nothing he could do.

Justin Lawler has been a beast for the Rams D, pretty much unblockable.

Rams hand it to Funk on 4th and 1 on their own 25, with second effort he gets the first down

J. J. Koski in the game at WR and had a nice catch near the goal line. Rams now have a Black QB in named Perkins. Jones and Funk have alternated at RB, Jake has juked and avoided tacklers, noted by Siciliano (who called it having "fight" lol), but has yet to have a hole to run through for a nice gain.

Amazing how the black QBs have just popped up everywhere...it's almost as if there was some sort of system in place to replace White QBs...;)

The Rams are pretty much screwed if anything happens to Stafford. John Wolford is definitely talented but isn't ready for prime time. Duck Hodges was a feel-good story in Pittsburgh in 2019 when injuries resulted in him starting some games, but he was exposed as NFL backup material at best. I don't know much about Perkins but he looks like another of those running QBs who doesn't know how to scan the field for the open man.

Groshek 1 rec for 6 yards in the Raiders game - no carries. Much to every BSPN/weenieworld analyst and DWFs chagrin Nate Peterman is playing for the Raiders and seems to be doing solid.

Agreed. I think Hodges was a decent signing - he at least has some starting experience and a similar skillset to Wolford. McVay seems to really like Wolford. I'm still a Minshew fan and maybe some team can ship a 7th round pick to Jacksonville to get a quality QB with starting experience...Urban seems open to getting rid of Whiteys on the cheap.

Safety Jake Gervase out of Iowa has played the entire first half for whatever that's worth. I'm hoping half-White half-Asian Taylor Rapp wins the starting FS job as he's a tackling machine when he plays.

This would be great. The NY Giants could be a good team for alot of us here to root for. With Daniel Jones at qb, Sills at wide receiver and Platzgummer
all playing it would make it nice along with some other players.

Yes indeed! Kept seeeing WR JJ Koski name pop up at Cal Poly...he was putting up some stats & had hoped he'd be given a real chance ! 2nd team on the Rams unofficial Depth Chart

Jake Gervase looks solid @ 212lbs! Would have to guess the L.A. Rams 90 man training camp roster would have as many white players as any other team?
WR Landon Akers is trying to make the team.

Glad to see RB Sandro Platzgummer get a chance! Need to see that 48 yard run! Looking for Sills to break thru!

I would say the Rams and the Vikings, with no other teams particularly close.

Maybe the Bills too, especially if Cole Beasley isn't purged or forced into retirement.

Yeah that’s how I remember it last year. Nall needs to treats every carry like it’s his last and maybe catch eye of a team that will use him properly which is highly unlikely but hope springs eternal!
