The Tour Championship next week decides the Cup winner. Rahm is the first seed, Johnson the second and Justin Thomas is third. They start off a certain amount of strokes ahead of the rest of the 30 man field, e.g. Rahm goes to the first hole at -10, Johnson will be at -8. Rahm, Johnson and Thomas are also ranked first, second and third in the world rankings at the current moment.

Don, I think Johnson is the first seed? He's first in Fedex Cup points. Rahm is second.

I know squat about golf, never been golfing. Just glad to see Tiger has gone missing again this year.

I'm surprised no one has reported Dustin Johnson winning the Fedex Cup Championship. By winning, Johnson should be a lock for the HOF. I would like to see him win more Major Championships. He has just one. The US Open. He has come in second in the other three.
Johnson has 23 career victories and has won at least one tournament in each of his 14 years on the tour.
The South Carolina native currently the Number 1 ranked player in the world.

I am glad you posted about Dustin Johnson CS. What he's done the last 3 weeks has been as good as anything Tiger did in a 3 weeks stretch. Just saw on Thursday that John Daly has bladder cancer. He had it removed but said it had an 85 % chance of returning. He's trying to quit smoking and drinking so many diet drinks. It doesn't sound real good for him but said he would continue to live his life as full as possible. Hoping for a complete recovery for you. I have a killer story about meeting John Daly at a Hooters bar in Gastonia, N.C. Will have to tell it on another post at a better time.

No personal interest in golf myself though I admire the skills of good players of golf, but I thought the question posed to Cerno and his answer has some crossover to CF.

Back in the 80s I worked at a golf course in Orlando and I got to see some great golfers and Curley from the Globetrotters (Curley was a hack golfer but a first class man to us peons) Who would have been a lefty golfer at the time because my boss was a fanboy when he showed up to practice for that big Winter tournament? Seen Fuzzy as well, what a character he never shut up you could hear him from the tee of the driving range to our building at the other end of it. And we had a round or two for qualifying for the LPGA, them was some big gals.

John Catlin won the Irish open on the euro tour. His second win in a few weeks

I don't know anything about him, but reminds me of Brooks Koepke, who played for a few years on the European tour before dominating the majors on the PGA Tour.
