The Bears have just one backup paleface on defense that I know about. The rodent appears to be going to Cordellle Patterson over Ryan Nall. They are going to need some long drives and a miracle/injury to maybe see Ryan get a carry or two.

This might be the game people remember who Rob Gronkowski is. He’s about ready for a 100 yard game with a TD.

Troy Aikman pretty tough on the TE Parker Hudson drop...the throw was low; as he was pulling it in ; the defender made a nice play to knock it way.

Out of 32 teams...curious to know how many Defenses around the NFL lack diversity?

This is going to be a pretty **** game. Watson is out and Scotty is probably going to be limited at best.

Nall will never touch the ball.

At this point it's more than just trying to keep Nall buried on the depth chart - they (AKA the Rodent) want to do everything they can to avoid using him. Other "benchwarmer" type running backs frequently get 3 or 4 carries a game, so they at least have a few chances to bust out a long run and show their stuff to the world.

I saw on previous drive a tight end was a fullback in a formation for I assume Montgomery(I don't have sound on), then I saw what I assume is him in the backfield as a fullback with Montgomery. Very strange usage, but he was on the field the Chicago PD may charge with me mischief if I call in the missing persons report....

Out of 32 teams...curious to know how many Defenses around the NFL lack diversity?

Seems to be about 10-12 teams with zero White starters on defense, depending on the source and how strict you want to be (for example, Ourlads currently has the Rams with 0 White defensive starters, while the Rams' site has Troy Reeder listed as a starter - Ourlads has him at second string. Also, second-stringers Morgan Fox and Greg Gaines get decent snaps).

They are talking up Patterson big time. He was a first round draft pick in 2013 as a WR and has not yet eclipsed 2000 yards as a receiver. Must be nice to have the privilege to stick around the league so long, be hyped up so much and still have a job after never living up to his lofty draft status.

Funny observations about this game.

When Brady is on the bench he's instructed by qb failure Byron Leftwich, it reminds me of Einstein getting help solving a theorem by my 6th grade math teacher... Jimmy Graham looks like various Jews I went to high school with on PED's who hung out in the hood.....
