Interestingly the Chiefs had a commanding 21-3 lead on the Titans last season in the playoffs. The game looked over until some Titans punk decided to crush Travis Kelce's skull. If I recall Kelce fumbled, Titans recovered the ball and the refs didn't negate the play totally ignoring the personal foul by the Titans DB. It was an obvious targeting call yet mystifyingly the refs ignored it. Not too mention they wiped out a Daniel Sorensen heroic late play with some half ass call.

My point? Well Kelce like the Titans game was killing the Colts in the first half. Take Kelce out of the equation and the Chiefs are a much different team. The Colts play one of those keep everything in front zone defenses and Kelce wouldn't have any of it as he found the seems slicing and dicing his way through them like butter.

And Daniel Sorensen played the whole game and as usual looked sharp. What did the ******* announcers interject as they looked forward to next week's game? Well S Eric Berry might be ready to go. I am so sick of hearing about stinking Eric Berry. The Chiefs finally win a playoff game and analysts want to replace Sorensen who has played terrific in both of his playoff appearances.

I was rooting for the Chiefs because of Kelce and Sorensen. Oddly enough as mentioned above WR Gehrig Dieter, who plays special teams, caught a ball and was used in motion several times. Perhaps they have more plans for him going forward? One thing I noticed he looks like a legitimate back up NFL WR. One capable of hauling in 30-40 passes a year. There are a lot of white WRs out there who could fit that bill.

I am still thinking the Chiefs might slip up. As CrazyFinn mentioned above they didn't really bury the Colts even though they had ample chances. If the Colts weren't so inept this game could have gotten hairy. I personally don't want a grandpa kicking field goals.

I see Troy Aikman was mentioned above. I think he has slipped this season. Another joyless performance ( his partner Buck is fine) capped off by the idiot comment comparing Jeff Heath to special teams player of yore Bill Bates.

Can't blame Heath for the loss he did everything he could as the last line of defense. Of course "all pro" CB Byron Jones has played like crap for several games now and the one time Dallas stopped the Rams this idiot was flagged for a personal foul. Funny the media continues to ignore bad black DB play. It is so rampant and yet totally ignored.

In truth that black Dallas DC ( he was up for a HC gig and just missed the cut) who was screaming at the white LBs should have saved his breath for the all black DL who quite frankly got mauled yesterday. It was a butt whipping. Sean Lee managed around 7 tackles but the question has to be asked? He is a world class starter and of course with the emergence of LVE wouldn't the Cowboys trade Lee and get something back? You can't have a world caliber player like Lee playing back up even with his history of injuries. Lee and LVE took several snaps together but I wonder what is the next step?

And as figured did anyone in the universe actually think QB Prescott was going to march the Cowboys all the way to a SB victory? It did not help Beasley was banged up.

The Kupp-less Rams do nothing for me. No white starters on D.

Rooting for the Saints and of course Patriots today.

Does LAC have an over achiever playing LB?
That would be Joey Bosa, one of the top defenders in the entire league.

Didn't mean to be snarky! Looks like a defense-optional game so far.

Looks like Edelman is representing NE's White skill players today -- Burkhead, Hogan and Gronk all non-participants so far though Gronk was thrown to in the endzone.

Nice to see Burkhead top of the drive after a long run by Michel.

Nice to see Hunter Henry back on the field, albeit for limited snaps.

Epic wipeout so far. Did y’all see the graphic, Edelman 2nd ALL TIME in playoff receptions behind only Jerry Rice. Wow.

I am starting to feel better about the Patriots playing in KC next week. They are dialled in. And KC looked vulnerable yesterday.

Watching Rex Burkhead kinda reminds me of Patrick Laird. Does anyone else see this? I think Laird would be an amazing fit with the pats, very similar skill set to Burkhead and James White and they could utilize him like they do which is essentially how he was used at Cal. He's a great receiver and a little nifty in the open field too and he runs with power despite his smaller frame for a RB. Never seen him return kicks or punts but I'm sure thats something he'd be willing to do if asked by the pats. I say they nab him in the 5th or 6th round, that would be the best scenario for him in my opinion.

First half Brady looks totally dialed in. Pats dominant. Feel bad for Rivers but N.E. looks unstoppable.

35 points in the first half! And Belichick is known for running up the score. . .

NE has a real chance on beating the Chiefs next week. If it were in NE it would almost be a given. I knew with the bye week rest and BB and staff forming a game plan that we would see these results.

Pats look dominant. The game plan has been good - hope they have a good game plan in place for next week as well against the Chiefs.

The game next week is forecast to be extra-cold, temps in the teens. That scenario definitely favors Brady and the Pats, masters of cold weather games.
