Bears-Packers on Thursday Night Football. Jordy Nelson had shredded the Bears in the past, tallying 100+ receiving yards in 4 out of the last 5 meetings. I'd love to see JN87 catch one of his trademark long TD's tonight (or more!). Aside from Jordy, there are the 4-5 whites (Matthews, Fackrell, Lowry, Ryan, Martinez) the Packers start/rotate on defense, RB Aaron Ripkowsi, Bears TE Zach Miller, and QB Mike Glennon.

The last time Jordy played the Bears...

Unfortunately, the Fudge Packers stated that they will be performing the "Arms Linked in Racial Unity" virtue signaling before/during the anthem.

Linking arms, kneeling, staying off the field - anything other than standing is intentionally showing disrespect for the Anthem, the Flag and America. It's also showing hatred for White people, which is, in fact, the real reason for these "protests."

Linking arms with these racist blacks is showing approval for what these racist blacks are doing.

I agree, the underlying hatred of whites by many black athletes has been and still is a PRIME MOTIVATING FACTOR for blacks and might help explain why they so often excel in sports. Their hatred provides them great inspiration and propels them to greater heights. Sports has been the one area blacks and a willing media promote the idea that they are superior and they just eat up and marinate themselves with that idea. And they get white fans to cheer them on so they have the best of both worlds going on and they want to keep it that way. Humiliate whites and have them cheer the whole thing as it goes down.
Now this idea by the Packers to have the fans link up is not only one of the queerest ideas to come down the pike but it is manipulative and coercive. It is trying to force people to be on the same page of these ******* protestors. I personally completely disagree with the premise(s) of this black power protest so why on hell should I link up with people in the stands? In a better world the fans would all stand for the National Anthem and then when the Anthem is over they all walk out of the stadium. Now that would be a protest I could get behind!!!!

I'm probably stating the obvious, but I get the feeling this whole protest issue will drag on for the rest of the season. Perhaps the NFL and the owners will reflect and come to the conclusion after analyzing the numbers that they are retarded.

Hilarious. Yes, they will put their best men on it and hire consulting firms and reach this conclusion.

Crawfords see the wisdom of Elway. They say they will stand during the Anthem next game. I see most if not of the teams bowing down. The affelets have seen logic. For one of the few times in their lives.

Pittsburgh is reeling. Any updates Don? Fans have started a bonfire ritual and general mayhem has taken hold. A local sporting merchandise store is on the brink due to the whole fiasco and more than any other city with the soldier on their team they screwed it up so bad logic dictates the players get their asses out there and stand at attention during the Anthem. Even some of the black players were embarrassed by what took place. Again I want to credit Jerry Jones who figured out a way (imperfect I know) to bypass this pissing on the Anthem scenario.
My understanding is that Packer fans are not happy with this plea for fans to link their arms together so I am not sure what will come down tonight. Here is a suggestion dumb ass Packers which is a citizen owned team. Stand at attention during the Anthem.

Most of the owners and GMs seem to be taking moderate, sensible, business-first positions and basically saying, "Okay, players, you made your point last week, now let's get back to football." But the Packers' "management" are doubling down on this extreme-left-wing, ultra-divisive garbage, which is guaranteed to come back and bite them where they don't want to be bitten. The working class, blue collar, lunch pail carrying, deceptively fast people who make up most of Packer fandom and gave Trump the first Republican electoral victory in Wisconsin since Reagan in '84 don't want any part of this cultural Marxist clown show. They just want to get back to the game and have fun like the normal people they are. SJWs are so out of touch with normies, it's ridiculous.

After reading about the White Seahawks players who secretly didn't want to protest the anthem, I bet there are some palefaces on the Packers who secretly don't want any part of this garbage, either.

So did the fans of Green Bay link arms before the game?

Tony Romo is wearing a 5 o'clock shadow, how professional of him. But then again this is a society that tolerates people wearing their pajamas to go grocery shopping.

announcers are already calling for Trubisky to replace Glennon. Ridiculous unless your goal is to ruin them both.

My Aunt told me there was a time when people in America always dressed up when they went out. This was every day. Men routinely wore suits on a regular basis. She said people dressed just as they appear in the old movies.

We should go back to that. The old ways were the best ways.

Here's what the media had to say

Packers, Bears players lock arms during national anthem, while some Green Bay fans follow suit
USA TODAY SportsPublished 8:28 p.m. ET Sept. 28, 2017 | Updated 8:55 p.m. ET Sept. 28, 2017

White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders became noticeably critical when an African American journalist questioned her about NFL players kneeling during the national anthem. Sanders said we should not be looking for ways to divide our count USA TODAY

Green Bay Packers players, coaches and staff locked arms during the national anthem Thursday night, a plan they revealed earlier this week, prior to their game against the Chicago Bears at Lambeau Field. Many Bears players and coaches did the same.

Some fans in the stands also locked arms in unison with the Packers, while others held their hands over their hearts and some saluted during the singing of The Star-Spangled Banner.

A chant of "U-S-A" rolled through the stadium prior to the anthem.

Green Bay players released a statement through the team website Tuesday night inviting fans to join them in portraying unity, locking arms in the stands during the national anthem.

Coach Mike McCarthy said this week he was “proud” not just of his players’ statement, but also how his team has gone about the past week.

“They put a lot of time and energy and thought into it,” McCarthy said. “They’ve met, they’ve had a chance to discuss, you know, each and every guy that expressed his opinion. I think it’s like anything in life, you’re never going to have everybody feel 100% the same way, but it’s just something we’ve talked about a lot as a football team because I always want to make sure the why — why are we doing this? — is explained.”

Tight end Martellus Bennett said he liked the idea of the Packers franchise being a symbol of unity.

"This is one of the most diverse workplaces in the world," Bennett said. "We’ve got guys from all different types of backgrounds
, and if we can come together and be unified for one goal, which in this metaphor that common goal is a Super Bowl or winning games, the Super Bowl in life is one where everyone can live in harmony, peace and everything could be unified. So we’re a walking testimony that it can be done, that you can work with people who aren’t like you, from different backgrounds, and reach a common goal if everybody wants the same thing."

Still, opinions were divided in Wisconsin, as they seem to be throughout the country.

Packers fans on Wednesday continued to blast the NFL, the team and players for what they perceive as showing disrespect for the nation, the flag, the military or the national anthem by sitting, kneeling, remaining in the locker room or locking arms during the national anthem. Supporters say players are peacefully exercising their free speech rights on the best stage available.

"We’ve had a steady stream of feedback beginning Monday morning and it continued into Wednesday. We’ve heard on both sides of the matter," said Aaron Popkey, Packers director of public affairs. "We take note of their concerns."

oh stfu you black son of a bitch. The NFL is one of the least diverse workplaces in the country, even less so than the NBA. So sick of these SOBs talking about unity and "divisiveness". Seriously it's like every black person in this country just learned that word last week and they can't stop saying it. They don't want unity(and neither do I) ,what they want is domination. What they call divisive is resistance to their attempts of domination. The only people who really want unity are the cucks. And I hope one day they're all forced to live in black neighborhoods.

I agree. Even the blacks back then used to dress well.

And another dropped pass. The Bears drop a lot of passes, especially their wide receiver Bellamy.

This lengthy "weather delay" was exactly what the NFL didn't need tonight after last Sunday's disaster. Now they're both liberal and boring.

Super boring game so far, and poorly played. Lots of penalties, lots of injuries, very few plays that have gained more than three yards.

Here's the anthem - at about 2:46 rookie Bears TE appears to want nothing to do with linking arms. He was under strict orders as a member of my CF fantasy team not to show unity.

So I "cut the cord" and as part of my Sling TV package I have NFL Network for the first time. However, when I put on the station the game is blocked and telling me it's available on Amazon Prime.

F the NFL. Even when I want to watch their boring and crappy product, they won't allow me.

Poor Glennon has no one to throw to. Kendall Wright is a former first round bust, but he's a Hall of Famer compared to the other bums playing receiver for Chicago. It's the worst receiving group in the league and that's saying something given how many teams have bad receivers.

Might as well leave Trubisky on the bench and hope Fox is finally canned after this season and they get a coach who knows what he's doing on offense. Fox is this year's version of Jeff Fisher, a head coach whose expiration date has long passed.
