The Browns have only made the playoffs once in my lifetime, and it looks like that dry streak will continue under a bad head coach, Hue Jackson, a bad GM, Sashi Brown, and a really bad quarterback in Deshone Kizer - he sucked at Notre Dame so why won't he suck even more in the NFL? Cody Kessler really wasn't given a fair chance at starting - he had a 92.3 passer rating last season from his 8 starts! Could be a player to build around, but alas the team with a black head coach and black GM for some reason chose to go with the black quarterback - just a coincidence, right? The Browns also released very good TE Gary Barnidge for whatever reason, and their current starter, who I've never heard of, has two career receptions (for four yards) in his two seasons with the Browns. Seth DeValve is second-string, followed by David Njoku, who was rewarded for two seasons of mediocre play in college with a first round pick. The OL will be a bright spot of this team, headlined by hall-of-fame-lock Joe Thomas at LT. JC Tretter and Kevin Zeitler were brought in from the Packers and Bengals to start, while Joel Bitonio returns at LG. Joe Schobert will start at MLB in their 4-3 defense because of Tank Carder's ACL injury.

QB: Kevin Hogan, Cody Kessler
FB: Dan Vitale
TE: Seth DeValve (co-starter?)
OL: Joe Thomas, Joel Bitonio, JC Tretter, Kevin Zeitler, Austin Reiter, Spencer Drango

DT: Jamie Meder
DE: Carl Nassib
MLB: Joe Schobert

Special Teams: K Zane Gonzalez, P Britton Colquitt, LS Charley Hughlett
Practice Squad: TE JP Holtz, OT Zach Sterup, OG Travis Averill

Starters: 6 1/2
On 53-man roster: 16

Good lord. The Browns were truly horrible last season and it looks like they could be even worse this year. Along with Seattle, Oakland, and Buffalo, they truly seem, even more than the rest of the odious NFL, to be more interested in replacing white players with black players rather than actually bringing in good players and winning games. Kizer was what, 4-8 as a starter in college last year? And they draft him and make him the starting QB over Kessler, who had a 92.3 rating last year? Even more obvious is that they released Barnidge, who had 79 catches for 1,043 yards and 9 TDs in 2015. Last year, on an absolutely terrible team, he still had 55 receptions for 612 yards. And they cut him and replace him with a black player who had 2 catches for 4 yards the last 2 seasons?! WTF?! Carl Nassib should get more playing time this year but under the current toxic "leadership" that seems unlikely.

I find it interesting that when the Browns left Cleveland and moved to Baltimore in 1996, the Ravens immediately became contenders and have been one of the winningest teams ever since. The Browns started a new team with the same name, same uniforms, everything, but they still suck. Maybe this team is just bad luck.

This is proof of anti-White racism and discrimination against White men. Lurkers, think about it. Why else are teams favoring black players who aren't as good?

That Randall Telfer guy didn't add to his 2 catches and 4 yards against the Steelers, didn't even have a target. I don't know if Ourlads and ESPN have their info wrong (both have Telfer listed as starter), but DeValve had 4 catches on 5 targets for 42 yards. Pro Football Reference don't have snap counts up yet so I don't know who had what share of the TE workload. Njoku (third string afflete) had 2 catches for 20 yards.

DE Jamie Meder is also on the team.

My bad, don't know how I glossed over his name but he's listed as a starting DT on Ourlads and second-string on ESPN.

DE Carl Nassib is now listed as a starter for week 2! DT Jamie Meder started week 1, but that may change with fat ass poly Danny Shelton coming back sometime.

That Browns TE situation is strange. Telfer is still listed as starter, but has only played 27% of offensive snaps in the first two weeks (for one catch) - DeValve and Njoku have 45% each. I think it's fair to bump the Browns up half a starter - DeValve has 6 catches for 103 yards so far, Njoku 5 for 47. Guess which one was a first rounder and which was a fourth!

Schobert hasn't missed a snap in the first two games and has 14 tackles, while Nassib has a sack (has played 70% of snaps). Meder has only played 21% of snaps for no tackles so looks low on the priority defensively for the browns.

Kizer had a putrid four turnovers (three picks and a fumble) in the loss to the ravens, hopefully his ass gets benched for good soon and Kessler or Hogan step up.
