The T'Wolves started 5 white players again in their last 2 games:
Kevin Love
Pekovic
Kirilenko
Shved
Ridnour

Unfortunately, they lost both games.
Love played very poorly in one game, and Shved played poorly in both games scoring 2 pts and 3 pts. Perhaps he is not quite ready to start and should continue to come off the bench.
Rubio did not play in the last game.

Seems like Love needs to get back in the groove. They have actually been more successful without him so far this season.

I guess the world might end tomorrow after all! The all white Minnesota T'Wolves are blasting the coal black OKC Thunder at the half 53 to 44.

GO T'WOLVES!

WOW! Minnesota 99 OKC 93! The most NBA I've watched in a long time. I thoroughly enjoyed the game. Minnesota played an all white line-up about 99% of the game.

Love 28 pts. 10 rebs., and 7 ass, I think.

Wonderful to watch.....I'm sure some black writer is gonna come out with another article tomorrow saying the T'Wolves are "too white" and their front office is "racist"

How can a team of slow white stiffs beat the ultimate supa affletic team In Oklahoma City? After all, the T-Wolves have only one true star In K-Love, a slow, shooting only guard in Ridnour, a has been who was out of the league not long ago in Kirelenko, and a European in Pekovic who everyone though wasn't ready for the "speed" of the league.Man, I can only imagine what the bruthas on the opposing team say before every game.

This was a HUGE victory for our cause!! JJ Berea with 14 in the fourth quarter, including 12 straight. Durant was driving to the hoop Lebron style bulldozing stationary white men, and getting to the foul line for it. Despite the refs best efforts to keep them in it the Thunder couldnt pull it off. I fully retract my earlier post about them not "needing" Love. When hes on hes the key. Id like to see Rubio, Sved, AK47, Love, and Pec start. J.J., and Luke are as solid as back ups can be. Im gonna have to be careful to not get my hopes up too high for this team, because this victory really lights a fire in me.

You can't blame the Timberwolves front office for the lack of blacks contributing to the team. Brandon Roy and Josh Howard both went down with injuries. The No.2 overall pick two years ago, Derrick Williams, is a collosal bust. They drafted Rubio three years ago, then promptly drafted two black point guards, Jonny Flynn and Ty Lawson, in the same draft. Kirilienko was a great sign and Shved came somewhat as a package deal. Pekovic came out of nowhere last year when Darko got hurt.

It seems as if a perfect storm (blizzard) of circumstances has occurred in which 8 of the teams top 10 players are White. And, they have a winning record, despite missing Love and Rubio for a significant portion of the season. This is going to be fun to watch.

Hahaha. I'm glad to see some more posters finally jumping on board the Timberwolve Band Wagon. What have you guys been waiting for? This team is so talented. They still are building chemistry and missing a 15 points a night scorer in Chase Budinger who is one of their better defenders and probably the most athletic guy on the whole team. With time, this team will continue to improve! We just have to hope that they are allowed to stay together and remain as they are. Alot of people will not be happy with a bunch of white guys proving that yes we too can play ball. It might help break some stereotypes the same way Jeremy Lin is in Houston. This is good for the game of basketball. I just will keep my fingers crossed that the bad luck with injuries is over and that they just let these guys play. Please do not break up this team! The are a breath of fresh air in a league with very few white players overall. In a fair world, they should just let them be and hopefully more teams in the future will give more of our guys a chance to play.

Yeah, I'm guilty of not paying much attention to the NBA lately, I hope you can understand WL!

We have very knowledgeable posters here at CF for which I am always grateful!

However, I do try and look at the box scores for the few white players that are allowed to play.

Again, I really enjoyed watching Minnesota last night, I hope there's more where that came from in the future.

I was talking about the Wolves with my wife. She was a damn good basketball, and volleyball player in High school, and understands the caste system. It is her opinion that they will only be allowed to stay together as an all white team if they dont get to winning too much. I hope shes wrong, but I tend to agree.

Remember the uproar when Bird put together a half white team in Indy? That experiment didn't last for too long. I don't expect this one to either but we should certainly enjoy it. They look like they will get in the playoffs this year.

Okay. They've got a mark on their back now. Every brutha in the league noticed that Oklahoma City loss. We are over a quarter deep into the season. Now is the time for these boys to turn it on. And keep it on.

I don't mind that the team has performed well in cases WITHOUT Love. It should let him know just how good his teammates are and to trust them.

I don't know if anyone caught this video here:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TZUd9KYn_Rs

It's funny. One thing I did notice however is that the Kyrie Irving "character", despite also being a codger, didn't miss a shot while Love was tossing air balls and missing passes left and right. Probably it fits the narrative better and makes for a funny story. After all, he's the one pulling Love's character out of retirement. Nevertheless, part of me thinks that this dude might be too insecure to be seen missing shots even in a scripted video. Like maybe his missed shots were scripted out because "man, that's whack. I see my character as more like, you know, kept ballin and sh*t. Kept up the skills." But who knows. Also, blacks are as attracted to the idea that they are "naturals" as much as their worshipful DWFs are. It'd come back no matter how long they'd been away from the court.

Anyway, an enjoyable little yard, even if in the feel-good (fantasy) genre of a white-black buddy movie (complete with the more modern theme of black as spiritual rescuer and guru - at least in Lethal Weapon, Gibson, while nuts, was far more badass than his black counterpart).

Whaaaat? T wolves rumored to be going after Redick?

www.orlandopinstripedpost.com/2012/...j-redick-minnesota-timberwolves-orlando-magic

Who's their GM, David Duke? Haha. In an 80+% black league, these coincidences are getting hard even for us to ignore.

Hope they stay white. Hope they win the fight.

Also Love out for one game with a scratch to the eye against NY on Sunday. DWFs calling him a Drama Queen. Yeah, first, I think the T wolves made that call and, second, they are wise to protect that investment and make sure he doesn't lose an eye in the next game. Not great for rebounds, outside shooting, depth perception, etc.

Maybe the NBA heads are, after all, running an experiment up in the great white north of Minnesota. I mean, given the financial health of the league, they are probably willing to try anything.

The name Gasol was also floating around a couple weeks ago as a possible trade to the Timberwolves. Maybe money really is their first love.

Or hell, maybe all this grumbling that Love has been doing about/and toward management is of a certain tenor.

Maybe Love is requesting teammates that he "can rely on". And maybe he's not shy about saying who he thinks those individuals are. I am sure he wouldn't have to be any more explicit than that. And it'd certainly be a bit impolitic of him to be more explicit. After all we know his complaints are about surrounding personnel. And we know that the organization wants to keep him. They are very unlikely to make big move without consulting him. I am thinking he's got at least de facto veto power and probably is allowed a bit more than his two cents regarding who they should go after.

Maybe, as completely and totally unlikely as it seems, this young kid is among the....awak....

I've heard him speak. He is definitely intelligent. In which case, I forgive him 3000% for any insolence he's shown toward management - provided he remains effective prodding them in his direction.

I mean shoot, if you've been playing ball with blacks your whole life, in this post-racial age, where the double standards are so blatant, you must have figured out something.

We may have to rename this kid "Hate". Haha. Now that is a joke.

O Hell, come on guys, a man can dream, can't he? I think I'll enjoy this fantasy until I fall asleep tonight.

If they trade for Reddick, then they will probably have to offer one of their white guards to get him.
All of their current white guards - Rubio, Ridnour, Shved, Barea - are point guards who can also play shooting guard (except Rubio).
So I expect they would lose one of these guys - probably Barea or Ridnour - to get the shooting guard Reddick.

Whether that's the case or not, they are looking at another white guard. So it doesn't detract from any of my observations (which I don't think you were implying). These coincidences, wonderful that they are, are hard to ignore.

If they lose a white guard to pick up Redick and Redick is an upgrade, I am for it.

That would be a great trade claimjumper and I'm all for it. I would also be open to them landing Jimmer in a trade. I've said it before that he needs to get out of Suckramento. Lol. He is alot younger than Reddick and every bit as talented. Either of these guys would be a great fit in Minnesota! I think they need to go after another big man too. Why not sign Jumping Joe Alexander for the minimum? It's worth a shot.
