UFC just signed Miocic. Stipe Miocic is also a very talented athlete, along with a great MMA record, he is also atCleveland State was a baseball player, anda national wrestler, and he was a golden gloves boxer. He was drafted by a major league team, but didn't make the cut.

Robert Drysdale won again with a first round submission to UFC vet Mike Nickels.

Jim Hettes will be making his return next week. Hettes is only 24 5'9 145 and has a record of 7-0 along with extensive BJJ career. The reason I didn't put him on the list earlier is because he has been around for a while, I don't know why UFC hasn't signed him yet.

Two other prospects are from the state of Wisconsin They are Andrew Trace and Klay Konrad.
Andrew Trace is only 23 he is 6'1 170 and holds a record of 3-0 pro and 9-0 amateur. Most of his fights have been stopped after the first round.
Klay Konrad is another interesting one, he is the older brother of Cole Konrad, but you wouldn't know that by the way they look. Klay is a former Army Ranger, he is 29 5'9 145 and holds a record of 2-0 pro. very good wrestler and very good cardio.

Tyler East def Nick Gaston by TKO in the second round. Gaston you may know from the bullybeatdown was considered one of the top prospects according to DWF. East is 6'5 250 and only 20 he improves to 9-3 and remains king of the cage heavyweight champ. Gaston was suppose to fight Todd Duffee after this fight but that might be in jeopardy now.

Great news about East. I saw him once last year and he lost via triangle. But looks like he has learned from that loss.

He was a high school wrestling champ in Arizona (or maybe it was New Mexico). But the guy seems to get most of his wins via KO.

Why did East not get a wrestling scholarship?

East credits working with Greg Jackson on his improved strikeing.

Jackson-Winklejon's camp is the top in MMA right now. Seems like AKA San Jose, American Top Team in Coconut Creek are top camps too. What other camps would you rank amongst the best?

Urijah Faber's camp (Team Alpha Male) trains a lot of the best lighter weight fighters.

Over the weekend Kurt Holobaugh and Dustin Jacoby won. Holobaugh is now 2-0 as a pro and Jacoby is now 5-0 as a pro. Today Jake Rosholt defeated Matt Horwhich to avenge a previous loss. Rosholt is now 12-3-1, his no contest should have been a win because he was dominating that fight.

The other think is the new season of the ultimate fighter. This season will be figthers at 145 and 135. I have three very good fighters i'd like to see on the show. Jared Downing is somebody I've already mentioned in this thread. 5'5 135 and is now 6-0, he dominated a very talented Ran Weathers last month.
Chris Bennett is 20 years old and is already well known on the BJJ circuit. He is 5'11 145 and is a submission machine, his record stands at 5-2 pro and 10-1 am of his wins 14 have come by sub and one by ko. I think TUF would be prefect for him in improving his all-round game.
Chris Holdsworth is 23 5'10 135 he is also well known on the BJJ circuit, and his record is currently 3-0 pro and 7-0 am, no one has gone past round one against him.

Al Iaguinta is 24 5'7 155 he currently trains at Serra-Longa alongside Chris Weidman. His record is 12-0 am and 5-0-1 pro. He hasn't fought anyone on the level that Tim Williams and Myles Jury have fought, but other sites have ranked him pretty high. I think because he has a very ethnic name some bigger promotions will give him a look.

Here are some veteran guys who aren't really prospects, but haven't been given the oppotunity to showcase their talant at the highest level.
Ryan Jimmo- 6'1 205 age 30. He has a record of 12-1 lost to Antwan Britt at the Ultimate Fighters tryouts, but since then has defeated Marvin Eastman, Emmanuel Newton, and Zak Cummings.

Travis ClarK- 6'2 205 age 32. He has a record of 6-0 pro and 7-0 am (5kos, 2subs), a very talented boxer and wrestler had a late start to mma. Key victories over Dan Spohn (5-0 pro) and Alan Aeschliman.

Dan Spohn- 6'3 205 age 26. Spohn sports a record of 5-0 pro and 9-4 am. He is a talented wrestler, who has victories over strikeforce vet John Hawk and UFC vet Josh Hendricks.

Jason Butcher- 6'2 205 age 26. Butcher has a record of 2-0 pro and 6-2 am. Raw figther does have a first round ko victory over highly rated Dominique Steele(11-2 combined record am and pro.)

Kevin Asplund- 6'3 270 age 35. Asplund is a powerhouse who keeps coming at you. sports a record of 12-1 pro(lost debut by decision) and 2-0 am.

UFC has signed two new whites for the welterweight division. Paul Bradley and Lance Benoist have both been signed by the UFC. Bradley who was on the Ultimate fighter, but was kicked off due to a staff infection, is 28 years old and stands 5'9 170, his record is 16-2 and was a wrestler for Iowa, he also has victories over Nate Coy and both his losses came against tough competitions. He is set to fight Rafeal Natal(12-2).
Lance Benoist is a fighter I've been raveing about. He is 22 years old 5'11 and 170, He hold a record of 5-0 pro 6-0 am. all his victories, but one have come by first round stoppage. He is set to face Matt Riddle. Riddle is 5-2 all his pro fights have been at UFC.

Alex Huddleston won his pro debut by UD against a very talented Daniel Gallemore 9-1 as an amateur. I actually thougth the fight should have been stop in the first round but the ref let it go. I had Huddleston won all three rounds. The guys at Titan FC where very high on Huddleston and even called him an internet sensation, yet the only mention of him was from me. So kudos to Castefootball for making an internet sensation.

Over the weekend Joe Ellenberger defeated James Warfield(20-7) by UD to improve to 12-0. I hope to see Joe fighting under UFC like his brother. Also Steele McCall defeated Travis Farrell to improve to 3-0 as a pro.

Also Dakota Cochrane defeats George Sheppard(12-6)to improve his record to 9-1 and retain the Cage INC. lightweight title. The other prospect that I found over the weekend is Brylan VanArtsdalen. Vanartdalen defeated Strikefore and WEC vet Anthony Leone in the first round by guilotine, he currently is 6-1 pro and 5-0 am he is 26 and is a former marine and wrestler. I wish him the best of luck and expect to hear great things from him.
