McGuffie wound up with 71 yards on 15 carries 4.7 ypc, and 2 catches for 12 yards, the second pass was overthrown, otherwise he wouldve scored, but he had to adjust jumping for it. They really don't know how to use him. They had some qb in that didn't know how to run the option, when he was supposed to hand off he kept running into a brickwall, and when he was supposed to keep he either handed it off or pitched, and McGuffie had a swarm of defenders around him. This qb stayed in for quite a bit, and only had one pass attempt, for a 1 yard completion, so it was an obvious running play every time he was in. Traditional running plays is where Sam excelled, showed great speed to get to the edge on some plays, had a nice 23 yard run when there was actually good playcalling/blocking. They switched between 3 quarterbacks. Sam had a td called back early in the game on a bs holding call. He can take a play that should be a 4 yard loss into a gain.

Rice had another white runningback, Turner Petersen, who rushed twice for 39 yards, with a long of 36 that was a touchdown.

You wouldn't happen to know of a stream for the Nebraska game do you? I have been looking around with no luck.

Yeah I've been looking all day, and haven't found one yet.

Great to hear about Dillon Romain, jwhite96!

Some other FCS players that were missed include Wagner dual threat QB Nick Doscher, who had 20 carries for 76 yards.

San Diego's RB Phil Morelli had 22 carries for a game high 106 yards and a TD and a 7 yard catch

Penn RB Brandon Colavita had 17 carries for a game high 122 yards and 2 TDs

Elon RB A.J. Harris had 15 runs for a game high 103 yards and 2 TDs plus 5 catches for 19 yards in the win over Furman.

Richmond RB Tyler Kirchoff had 13 runs for a team high 77 yards

Cal Poly FBs Jake Romanelli and Jordan Yocum have both received significant carries this season. Romanelli ended up with 12 runs for 52 yards and 2 TDs yesterday, while Yocum had 14 runs for 65 yards and a TD.

Sacramento State RB Jake Croxdale hasn't been used a whole lot this year, but should get more carries next year. Yesterday he had 21 carries for a team high 69 yards and a 2 yard catch in the win over Idaho State.

South Dakota State RB Kyle Minett had 16 carries for a team high 75 yards and 2 TDs

North Dakota RB Mitch Sutton ended up with 12 runs for a team high 76 yards and 2 TDs

Old Dominion dual threat QB Thomas DeMarco had 20 carries for a team high 67 yards in the win over VMI.

Butler RB Scott Gray had 13 carries for a team high 64 yards and 2 catches for 19 yards in the close loss to Drake. Drake's underutilized RB Tom Kostek had 9 runs for 52 yards and the team's only TD.

I'm really surprised that several of these players haven't been mentioned yet.

I posted this on the Alabama thread, but believe it merits posting here. After all, its not every day that we see a White RB (not FB) underclassman getting carries in the SEC, even if they are scrap carries in a blowout win. Alabama actually gave a few scraps to their lone White RB last night in the blowout win over Georgia State. Ben Howell is
a Sophomore at Alabama and this is the first action he has seen,
getting 5 carries for 11 yards. I hope we see more of him in the future,
but I won't hold my breath waiting for caste clown Saban to give him a
fair shot at real playing time. Ben is 5-9, 193 and seems to run with a
lot of power and agility. These highlights don't show him to be a burner, but he managed to get some interest in the state of Alabama. Ben is also a great student.
It looks like Alabama was originally looking at him as a prospect at
LB, which he also played in high school. As a high school sophomore, Ben
had 97 tackles, 1 INT, 2 fumble recoveries, 3 forced fumbles plus 634
rushing yards on 120 carries.

Zach Line is up to 10 carries and 92 yards! If he keeps this up, he'll gain a lot of ground in the stat rankings.

I hope Zach Line is given a legitimate shot at playing on Sundays. He is so productive. He looks like a Hillis/Gerhart clone. Right now he isn't rated highly but that could be because his draft year is two years away and he was ignored because of you know what and the conference.

Zach Line had over 3X as many yards as the six coal-black rushers for the Blundering Turds, combined. Nice to see White-friendly SMU beat racist Marshall by two TDs. A good Caste win.

Joe Martinek has been one of the disappointments this year. I think he has been hampered most of the year with an injury. Anyone know what Tom Savage's story is?
