Also, the Eagles have been starting a white center, Mike Mcglynn, until another sumo gets back from injury.Edited by: referendum

The media keeps repeating that today's players are "much bigger and faster" then they used to be. Maybe they are "faster" on a specially trained for 40 but their on the field play today is not only MUCH slower, these obese affletes have piss poor stamina. "Smaller, slower" teams from the 70's and 80's would dominate these coddled, obese, overrated turds IMHO!

If Mike Kafka is trying to play himself off of Fat Bastards roster, he's doing a great job so far. He's currently 1 for 14 for 3 YARDS and an interception. He's certainly not helping other players fighting for a job, he just threw a terrible 3rd down pass that Chad Hall could have done some damage with.

Unfortunately Cooper only had one catch for 27 yards. I watched the beginning of this game. He also dropped an easy pass from Convick early in the first quarter.

Donovan McNabb's comments only reaffirm what we have always thought of the NFL lockeroom.

"Albert is one of our brothers in the locker room," McNabb said on his weekly radio show. "He understands, 'Hey, I got to put the time and effort in. We can't win without him. I think he'll be here. I hope he'll be here."

Hey KP, shouldn't this post have been on the Blackskins thread? I guess it really doesn't matter, all of the teams look the same, anyway......

Eagles sign Owen Schmitt.

Eagles signed FB Owen Schmitt, formerly of the Seahawks.
<div ="s_pNewsTextMain">
They picked him over Jason Davis. Schmitt, 25, struggled as a blocker
in Seattle last year, but has special teams ability and some versatility
as a receiver. He won't be nearly as big a part of the offense as
Leonard Weaver.

Schmitt was an excellent runner for WVU in limited opportunities and against very good competition, but of course can't begin to compare to the great Leonard Weaver when it comes to rushing the ball.

Weaver lumbering lard butt who walked up to the line standing straight up, gets grabbed by a Packers lineman who was already on the ground, and then becomes highlight material for a stomach churning injury. Moron, but the drunks in the media blast Toby for his straight up running style once he gets into the secondary while they praise the afflete for his abilities.

I dearly hope they allow ConVick to start some games. This is the comic relief I've been waiting for and missed whilst he was well, detained.ConVick makes me and my family laugh, and during these times of economic downturn, we all need some levity.

Yes! I too celebrate the return of Micheal (Con-) Vick to the NFL. He is the modern version of step-N-fetchit, a 21st century minstrel show. His hilarious antics as he tries to imitate a white QB while being a typically inept negro QB is some of the best entertainment the NFL provides.

Look there he goes back to pass, wait no-he's going to run, nope he's going to pass, now he scrambles around looking for someone to hep him! Oh no! he used his cannon arm to throw a long interception. HA HA what a show! Good stuff....

It looks like Mike Mcglynn will be the starting center as of now anyway. This could bring Eagles to a whopping six starters, if Kolb stays on as starting QB, a big if of course, if Schmitt or Mills become the new fullback, and if Bradley comes back soon. The Eagles would then be a virtual copy of the New Orleans Saints in terms of white starters, but with one extra white o-lineman.

Caste Football Looks at the 2010 Philadelphia Eagles

To understand just how tenuous is the status of every White NFL player -- including quarterbacks -- except for a handful of superstars, Mike Lombardi of the NFL Network just asserted that he believes that Michael Vick has won the Eagles' QB job for the rest of the season following Kevin Kolb's concussion in the second quarter of the Eagles' first game of the season. Lombardi's cohorts all agreed with his assessment that Vick provided a "needed spark" to the Philly offense and will keep the job provided the team beats the Lions and Bills in the next two games.

Let's see now -- the first time Kolb ever saw NFL action was two years ago during the second half of a game against the tough Ravens defense after McNabb had been benched by Andy "Fat Bastard" Reid (which caused a prolonged national stir). Baltimore constantly blitzed Kolb and he did poorly. Even though he was a second round pick in 2007 (and the Eagles first selection of that draft), Kolb was immediately written off as a "bust" based entirely on that one half of play.

In 2009, Kolb started two games in place of an injured McNabb, and threw for over 300 yards in both of them. McNabb ended up being traded and Kolb was regarded during the offseason as a surefire star in the making who was more accurate than McNabb and would really light up the team's passing game.

So in the first half of his first game as McNabb's designated replacement, Kolb gets no protection from his line, looks hesitant, and ends up suffering a concussion. Vick moves the team better (much of the time with Green Bay playing a prevent defense), and now again Kolb has been written off after everyone had agreed during the preseason that Vick was no threat to Kolb and that Kolb would have the entire season to prove himself.

The NFL has become as drama-filled as the soap operas, with huge daily twists and turns of events that properly should be given months to play out. It's partly a reflection of Caste System dynamics and partly a reflection of the U.S.'s decadent, incredibly dumbed-down "culture" of instant gratification and of constantly tearing down those previously raised up to celebrity or star status.

As far as Kolb, his situation reminds me of Brian Billick's tenure as the head coach in Baltimore. He built a practically all-black team on both sides of the ball and then would throw into the fire hapless inexperienced White QBs like Kyle Boller and Chris Redman and expect them to succeed instantly. What it was was a recipe for failure.

Andy Reid has done the same in Philadelphia, where Kolb's black-dominated o-line seemed to instantly play better with Vick in the game and where the sentiment of the team is obviously in favor of Vick, a mediocre and inconsistent quarterback at best and a scumbag of a person who shouldn't even be in the league.

If Reid does decide to ride Vick at QB, there will be just four White starters. Center Mike McGlynn out of Pitt is starting only because incumbent Jamaal Jackson was placed on injured reserve. That means LG Todd Herremans will actually have a fellow White starter on the offensive line, a real rarity in Philadelphia in recent years. One of his black mates is LT Jason Peters, who played poorly last season after coming over from Buffalo yet still was elected to the Pro Bowl; but the NFL and its Caste System boosters have decided that left tackle is a "black thang" now, and well, someone has to make the Pro Bowl at the position.

After Herremans and McGlynn, there are no other White offensive linemen, even as backups.

Brent Celek became one of the elite tight ends in the league last year, a remarkable achievement indeed given that he was routinely decried as "lacking athleticism." Imagine -- a tight end so unathletic that he still managed 76 catches for 971 yards and 8 TDs in his first season as a starter. Garrett Mills, the record setting tight end while at Tulsa, has been jerked around the NFL by New England, Minnesota and now Philadelphia. He should be starting, but has never been given anything approaching that kind of opportunity thus far and won't get it in his newest landing spot as long as Celek is healthy.

Rookie WR Riley Cooper is immensely talented. He has nice size at 6-3 and 222 pounds to go with good speed and excellent hands. He could have played professional baseball but chose football instead. The Eagles have two talented black starters at WR in Desean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin, so Cooper may be stuck behind them. In a fair NFL, Cooper would have been a first round draft pick given his talent and proven ability playing at Florida.

The Eagles also had WR Chad Hall and three other White WRs on their training camp roster, but all were cut. No surprise there as Reid seems to repeat that sadistic tradition every year.

FB Owen Schmitt was recently signed after Leonard Weaver was placed on IR. Schmitt was a very productive running back for West Virginia in limited opportunities (a 6.3 yards per carry average to go along with 13 TDs), but will never be "allowed" to be a power running back in the NFL.
Rookie Mike Kafka is a backup quarterback.

On defense, MLB Stewart Bradley is a beast who missed the '09 season with a torn ACL. He is the only White defensive player on the roster.

Seven of the team's 11 assistant coaches are White.

NUMBER OF WHITE PLAYERS ON 53 MAN ROSTER: 12

NUMBER OF WHITE STARTERS: 4 (5 if Kolb is the starting QB)

GRADE: F, F+ if Kolb is the starting QB

Here we go again.

The Eagles announced that Michael Vick, not Kevin Kolb, will start at Jacksonville on Sunday.
<div ="s_pNewsTextMain">
There's no explanation from the team, leaving fuel for speculation as
to whether Kolb experienced a setback with his concussion or coach Andy
Reid simply changed his mind. NFL insiders are divided down the middle,
though Geoff Mosher of the Wilmington News Journal says Vick is the
starter for the rest of the year. Reid will address the situation in a
6:30 p.m. conference call. The Jaguars have perhaps the league's most
burnable secondary, leaving Vick as an elite QB1 option for a second
straight week.

Fat Bastard is holding a press conference right now to announce that Vick is the starter.

Under the circumstances, it's probably the best move for Kolb and for the team. Kolb likely wasn't going to get better quickly given the team's atrocious sumo-dominated line, and it's obvious that the "locker room" was squarely behind Vick. Add in a hostile media and DWFs, and Kolb wouldn't stand a chance right now.

Better to let Vick play and eventually descend to his usual inconsistent, mediocre level, than Kolb being the season-long object of hate. Kolb's better off still biding his timefor now.Edited by: Don Wassall

Agreed, Don. Much better situation for Kolb than him being on an even shorter leash and having to look over his shoulder. Vick will have a number of up & down games. I doubt that he will maintain a high level of productivity over the course of the season. Hopefully Kolb will be given an opportunity and take advantage of it. He really is the better longer term solution for the Eagles.

The two-facedness and cultural marxist agenda of the mainstream sports "pundits" is beyond apparent when the same people crying over the yanking of Jason Campbell after 5 lousy quarters of play were the same people bellowing for Michael conVick to start over Kevin Kolb after less than a half of play time.
