    Chris Mullin

Mullin made the hall of fame. I was akid when he was at St. johns and he (along with Ewing)did a lot to bring the big east to the big time. http://www.boston.com/sports/basketball/articles/2011/04/04/rodman_mullin_lead_2011_hall_of_fame_class/ Since they also look at college and olympic...

    Jalen Rose's Hatred for Duke

Jalen Rose also admitted on the doc that the better team won (Duke) in the Nat'l championship game and that he had to ultimately respect Laettner's game.

Top Ten most disliked people in sports

What's more telling is that McGuire's teammates always spoke highly of him, while Bond's teammates could not stand him.

    Jimmer Fredette

Of course the "experts" are comparing him to Redick. Fredette is a better ball handler than Redick and is also better at creating off the dribble. I se him as a more athletic Stephan Curry. And that is no disrespect to Redick, who I think will be a legitimate star if he can get the minutes.

    Bob Feller passes!

He pitched in a time before they had radar guns, but most baseball historians think that he would have been timed at well over 100mph. RIP

    Good point, Rednose.

    Pacquiao vs Margarito

I agree. He may have taken too many shots to the head. When asked about Clotty he said "Clottey is 'black,' but not a 'black boxer' from the states with a slick style."

    Pacquiao vs Margarito

Paqcuaio has agreed to the drug test and Mayweather still will not fight him. This despite the noted genius Bernard Hopkin's comments that Paccuaio is afraid to fight black fighters. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=5820908

    Pacquiao vs Margarito

Still, politics aside, he is a hell of a fighter.

    Pacquiao vs Margarito

Well, I'll be the first to admit I had this wrong. I thought that Pacquio would have a much tougher time of it and I even gave Margarito an outside shot of stopping Pac in the later rounds. He is truly a remarkable talent and I would love to see him fight Mayweather in his next fight.

    Pacquiao vs Margarito

I am a pacquio fan but I think margarito has a very good chance of pulling off the upset. he is bigger, stronger and has a good chin. If is is as relentless as he was in the cotto fight, he could walk pacquio down and stop him in the later rounds.

    NFL Network Top 100 Players

I've seen clips of Alworth and he was one of the all time greats. World class spped, soft hands and precise route running. He was able to dominate in an era where the DB's basically were able to mug the receivers all the way down the field. In fact, if he played under today's rules which forbids...

    Once Brothers

Excellent documentary. Yes, Petrovic was considered the best player in Europe, often scoring 50 or 60 pts a game and once he got his chance in the NBA (after being traded from Portland to NJ.) he started to dominate here as well. In the doc, they show clips of Kenny Andersaon recalling how...

    Vick gets courage award?

To be fair, when Tim Tebow hurt his ribs on a similar play in preseason, (taking on a defender at the goal line instead of sliding) he was credited as being tough and fearless so I do not think that Vick diving is an indication of low intelligence. However participating in dog fighting and...

    Vick gets courage award?

Good point, ToughJRiggins. I would make that trade off (couple of black QB's for some more white RB's) as well.

    Vick gets courage award?

To be fair, I give him credit for selling out his body on the play to try to score rather than slide and protect himself. As it turns out, there was a holding penalty called, so it would not have counted anyway. Vick was having a very good run at QB, but to compare him (as a QB) to Manning...

DID Gerry Cooney take a dive??

There is no way (IMO) that Cooney took a dive. If anything, the enourmous hype surrounding the fight and the self imposed pressure on him to win was so great that he got away from his normal fighting style. He admitted later that he decided to "pace" himself for a long fight instead of going for...

    Ricky Hatton

This saddens me. I always liked Ricky, but it seems he has hit rock bottom. Hopefully, he can turn his life around, but I doubt we will ever see him fight again. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=5564889

    Dmitry Pirog

Pirog is someone to watch out for in the future, very gifted defensively, as well as obvious power. Jacobs was a very highly regarded prospect.

    Thanks, Carson Palmer

Palmer has been known to call out teammates (most of whom are black) in the past when he felt it was deserved. There is nothing in his past actions to suggest that he is a lackey or has a bias against white receivers. His goal, most likely, is to get the players that give him the best chance to...

Christophe Lemaitre "White Lightning" 9.92 and 19.80!

Wonderful news! Now, that the mythical monkey (sub 10) is off his back, he can simply relax and become one of the greatest sprinters of all time. The sky's the limit.

    Cotto vs Foreman

Saw the fight and I agree that although Foreman was losing (and seems to lack elte punching power) his knee did bend back under him (not faked) and he showed a lot of heart in continuing to fight.
