Jason Cole wrote something the other day that makes me laugh. If he was truly concerned about the problem of irresponsible fatherhood he could have used many examples of black affletes who have produced illegitimate children numbering in double digits. Its very, very common among blacks. Yet, beilng a gutless, politically correct coward, he chooses to name 4 athletes, 3 of whom are white.

Cole:Iwill try to figure out what bothers me so much about athletes such as Tom Brady, Matt Leinart, Ricky Williams and Brian Urlacher being so irresponsible about fatherhood.

LOL! That is so ridiculous it's actually funny!

Good thing he is sticking to football, otherwise he might have to talk about Shaun Kemp and Evander Holyfield.

I wonder what bothers him about guys like Jamal Lewis, Rae Carruth, Jason Kidd.. never mind, I don't have the time to list every black player in sports with a criminal record. Don would ban me for taking up too much bandwidth.

Maybe what concerns him is when the white guys are doing it too it really means the family unit is broken. Fatherless black kids is not a big deal, the MAJORITY of black kids in the US live in a household without a father.

A nearby housing project where I live did a survey and found that 2% of the kids had a male in their household, there were 200 households surveyed, that means 4, 4 out of 200 of those kids had a "father" and let's be realistic, when were talking father here were not talking about Ward Cleaver either.

Cole can put whatever slant he wants on it, he knows the problem, they all do, the only worry left is how bad this problem will get among whites.

Ward Cleaver? I can't even imagine a black version of Ward. That 's a good line and illustrates your point very well.
