Boling achieved a major milestone with recent sub-10 and sub-20 races.

He becomes the 2nd athlete in history to run sub-10, sub-20, and long jump more than 27 feet.
The other athlete was Carl Lewis.
That puts him in very elite company, and speaks volume about his talent level.

This weekend Matthew Boling is only slated to run the 100 meters and the 4 x 400 relay. So glad his coach isn't overracing him anymore. Adjustments are part
of life and we cannot afford to see this emerging sprinting superstar struggle or get hurt due to fatigue. So happy about that. I would rather of seen him do the
100 & 200 meters but I'm not gonna complain too much. The 400 relays are giving him the speed endurance to finish those 200 meters with a strong finish. We
can already see that paying massive dividends in addition to Boling not competing in 3 or 4 events every weekend.

I'm gonna make another prediciton. I say Boling goes 9.96 this Saturday! Hoping for good weather and for him to get an explosive start and never look back! :)

Boling. 9.94 with a 2.3 headwind. Prediction that is. :) Can anyone tell me what Boling's 200 time would translate with a 2.0 max tailwind as opposed to a - 0.9 ? When he dropped that indoor time if he stays healthy hes going to hit low 19.6x before the end of the season.

Matthew Boling won the 100 meters today at the 2022 Torin Lawrence Invitational. He ran a 10.05 +0.1 wind! Not great but still a very fast time
with no wind and no competition.

Yeah, the times from all the other events at that meet have been pretty slow. Maybe there was a lot of humidy, and like white lightning said, he needs competition.

He is spoiling us. We are disappointed about a 10.05. That is a fantastic time.

Yes Boling is doing great. The pressure on this kids shoulders is immense as he is like Mr. Instagram and Mr. Tik Tok, etc. etc. To be a white sprinter with blonde hair and blue
eyes going into these events he is hated by many fans that consider this their sport and their turf. He is a great kid and he has really grown and matured physically, emotionally and mentally. An elite sprinter that anyone can look up to. It's a breath of fresh air and just what track needs.

When he ran his first wind legal sub 10 a few weeks ago I said this is a start. To be on the ultimate level he will have to be able to run 10.00 flat and sub 10 times with no wind
and even into negative winds. This is a good step as it's almost 10.00 flat with no wind and no competition. He did this all by himself like a track practice. The other thing Boling
will have to prove is that he is capable of running fast in rounds. That's what all the major championships are about so his speed endurance and stamina will be tested!

A good video discussing why Matthew Boling is so fast! He is finally starting to get some respect and he deserves it!

Thanks for posting the video from todays race. I feel like the other sprinters were trying to sabotage Boling. When have you ever heard of 5 guys that
did not show up in the same race? It's common to see a couple but never in my life have I seen 5 healthy sprinters pull out at the last minute. Boling
is either loved or hated in track. You see it at the meets and on the message boards. Also on the comments for his videos. Why do so many fans hate him?
We know why but that's life. Boling is getting better at blocking out all that off the track stuff which is good.

So the time today is even more impressive considering he only had 2 other sprinters in the race. That can effect you in many ways as the 100 meters is
all about how you react to the gun and the start and drive phase. I think he handled it well to say the least. Hope they don't race next weekend as he needs a couple
of weeks rest before the 2022 SEC Outdoor Track & Field Championships! It would be epic to see him win both the 100 & 200 meters but it will be difficult.

There would be only one reason to hate Matthew Boling. He seems to be a smart, humble guy with no agendas other than sprinting. He even eschewed the “White Lightning” nickname, and it seems to have gone away.

Watched the video, he is dead on with his statement. Deep down Blacks are afraid of whites and especially one who challenges the false belief that Blacks are superior athletes. We all know they are not but convincing other whites and especially Blacks is very difficult.

WL I believe you are correct in your reasoning as to why 5 Black sprinters pulled out of the race, collusion for one to keep whitey from breaking 10 seconds again and fear of losing to a white sprinter. I imagine the fallout to these guys would be catastrophic from their own race. We shall see if this happens again in the next 2-3 meets.

This is a good video and the guy does speak the truth. The only thing I find ironic is that he chose a race where Boling lost and he was also disqualified in for stepping out
of his lane in the ncaa indoor 200 champs this year. Boling has won so many races yet this guy chose a video that embarasses Boling at the highest level. How many races
has Boling won this year? If your going to point out the truth why put a video to discredit him. So he speaks the truth but shows Boling losing. It's quite ironic indeed.

Regardless I'm glad he did make the video as I've seen it with the fans. Matthew Boling is hated by so many fans for no reason other than his skin color. Thank God not
all people are like that but anti white racism is real and it's worldwide. The media does their best to fuel the anti white hatred around the world which is sad.

I was going to say the same thing but he also chose the 60m race where Boling won in 6.59. Yes he should have chose a 200m that showed Boling at his best which would have put his point across with no questions...

Get ready for some fireworks this weekend with the 2022 SEC Outdoor Track and Field Championships from Thursday to Saturday. I believe the majority of the
finals will be on Saturday. Hopefully we can watch it live. Here is a great preview of these two elite sprinters trying to beat each other to be crowned the champion.

I am gonna go out on a limb. Barring false starts or injuries I predict Matthew Boling will break both his 100 & 200 meter personal best times and become the
2022 SEC Champion of both the 100 and 200 meters. I'm gonna predict wind legal times of 9.95 and 19.88! You heard it here first. Good luck Matthew! :)

I predict he will come second in the 200m and first or second in the 100m. Times depend on conditions...

He actually has a better chance in the 200 than the 100 meters. Why do you ask? Because Favour Ashe from Tennessee has a p.b. of 9.79 from this season. Boling would have
to beat him to win the title. Boling has the same 19.92 p.b. in the 200 as Fahnbulleh.

Despite all of these things I'm feelling it. Boling will win both and he will break his personal best times in both regardless of the wind as long as it's not over the allowable limits.

"If" the winds and weather ie hot and sunny with lower humidity and barring any niggles/injuries are all favourable he should come close or beat his PB's in both 100/200m, if the winds are negative and weather is not conducive to fast times he will be in tough.. I am also worried the 4x400m relay will tax him more than necessary.

Boling cruised to an easy win in his 200m opening round of the SEC championships, easing up well short of the line and still finishing with a stadium record.

the showdown between Boling and Fanbullah (sp?) should be one for the ages.

He definitely won't be able to see Fahnbulleh, because Fahnbulleh is always at the back of the pack coming off the curve.
He just has to run like hell and hope Fahnbulleh doesn't catch him at the end of the race.

Nope, Boling will be in lane 6, Fanbulleh in lane 5. This is a disadvantage for Matthew. Yup, run like hell, know that he is back there and is coming up fast.

Fanbulleh closes like a wolf pack on a weak elk, but he often has a lot of ground to make up off the curve ... Boling is strong in every phase but tends to tighten up when he feels the pressure, though he’s been running much more relaxed this outdoor season.

who will run their best against the best competition they’ve faced thus far this season? makes for a compelling race.

The women's 200 will also be compelling with Favour Offili taking on Abby Steiner.
