A Legend Passes

I'm not sure how many of you follow professional bodybuilding, but one of the greatest of all time, Reg Park, died over the weekend of cancer at age 79. He was the last great natural bodybuilder, and was the inspiration for Arnold Schwarzenegger. He made some Hercules movies in the 60's, and was a great champion and trainer. He will be missed.

Reg Park, Steve Reeves and John Grimek were three of the best built men of all-time. Watching Steve Reeves play Hercules in the movies when I was 10 years old made an impact on me that has lasted for over 40 years. I remember seeing Reg Park as Hercules fighting some vampires-Reg was 6'1 240lbs of solid muscle,he didn't need garlic, a cross or a wooden stake to beat the snot out of the vampires. He was a REAL MAN !!
