Just watching videos, movies and TV shows from roughly the 1970s and earlier is like seeing a different species of Americans, a much better one, with the girls and women being pleasant and friendly and naturally sexy (not in the pornographic way that passes for "sexiness" today), and of course rarely overweight. Think of Woodstock and how the guys and girls looked, there may not have been a fatty out of the hundreds of thousands of people there. I remember when Mama Cass Elliott of the Mamas and Papas was famous in part in the '60s because she was fat; today she might be a Victoria's Secret model.

Nothing I love better than a woman who is athletic and fit & pretty and feminine at the same time (my wife being the best example of this). Most of today's actresses are neither. The female characters who are supposed to be "intimidating" and "badass" are laughably not so, making their ball-busting fight scenes even more ridiculous.

She has also maintained her beauty as she has aged and looks to have no (or very minimal) surgery to stay young.

As a Boomer I apologize to the young lads of being in the cohort which did much to bring about our current dystopia. That said a couple of years ago on one of my BoomerWaffen websites the owner posted a video from the 1970s of a live performance of a Southern rock band which escapes me now of a concert in SoCal and they did a slow sweep of the entire crowd, one gorgeous girl after another, oh what we wasted. Now for those coming up in the 90s you got an echo of that, living in a leafy suburb almost a Whitopia it was kind of like going back in time but not quite.

It's not all boomers that are responsible for the current conditions. It's the liberal boomers only. Certainly many boomers opposed what has happened to our country.

Nah we "conservative" Boomers accepted the left's psychobabble such as "sexist, racist and homophobic" to become legit political rhetoric so it's our fault, and I am sorry. But being human we took the easy way and here we are today. Clay Travis tweeted a chart of incomes by groups and us "white supremacists" are so far down the chart we are closer to the Chitlin-Americans than the Indians at the top.

Edit; Yep that is the video I saw it posted at WRSA which is basically mainly the BoomerWaffen and we all basically had nostalgia for the day. That average Johnny Depp movie "Blow" was centered in SoCal and the beach scenes, yep that is what it was like, now I imagine it is like Jabba the Hutt's bar crowd. Thanks for posting that.

There was a gothic soap opera that some of the "boomers" may recall: Dark Shadows. It ran from 1966 to 1971 and played host to vampires, werewolves, Frankenstein monsters, zombies, witches, gypsies, ghosts, etc. If you have Amazon Prime you can click on the show which will take you to the imdb.com website and you can watch all thousand and something episodes. I'm up to 867. Lol. There were some gorgeous women on there. It doesn't really get supernatural until about episode 200, for some reason. Weird how so many things seemed to end around '71 or '72: Dark Shadows, moon landings (if they really were, lol), cigarette commercials, Fillmore West concerts, Ed Sullivan Show, and on and on.

Interesting observation. There were a lot of classic comedy series in the mid to late '60s that all ended around that time period -- The Beverly Hillbillies, Adams Family, Munsters, Green Acres, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Hogan's Heroes, Petticoat Junction. They were replaced by more counter-culture type shows which were given somewhat of a mainstream veneer like Laugh-In and All in the Family. The 1970s served as an era to consolidate the radical left's huge gains in the late 1960s and diminish any large-scale opposition to them.

I always liked those '60s comedies, and also Lost in Space while never getting into Star Trek, but stopped watching prime time TV shows of any kind in the early '70s when all my favorites disappeared and I'm glad I did. People hooked on prime time garbage their whole lives are impossible to "deprogram"; they're the blind base of support for Fauci's psychopathy, the dehumanization of Russians, and the rest of the upside down world and lies presented by the "mainstream" media.

Little known fact. Smithers retired from acting after marrying actor James Brolin of The Amittyville Horror fame who is the father of actor Josh Brolin of Goonies and No Country for Okd Men fame.
