Since 2006 the Razorbacks have started 6, 7, 5, 7, 5, 5, 6, 7, 7, 6 ,6 ,5 , 8 ,7. Last year was up 9.
This season it looks to be 9 again....

It does not get to be a much better Caste story than former "WALK-ON CORNER BACK" #17 Hudson Clark now a Redshirt Sophomore. !!! Began last season 4th Team practice player on the Depth Chart ((not mentioned on 2020 thread for that reason!)). Got his chance to "Start" only when other players were forced to sit due to COVID early in the season. In just his third career start had 3 INT's!! He earned a "full scholarship" after that! At 6'-2" is tall for the position!

LB'ers #10 Bumper Pool and #31 Grant Morgan is the SEC version of the Bruise Brothers. (see Clemson Skalski & Spector). Massive Nose Tackle #99 John Ridgeway (6'-6" 320!) is an Illinois State transfer; actually played football this past Spring!

Not as much to talk about on Offense; TE Hudson Henry older brother Hunter plays in the NFL
2nd team TE Blake Kern
QB's Kade Renfro ; John Stephen Jones (Cowboys owner Jerry Jones grandson) are buried on the Depth chart
Walk-on WR John David White is on the 3rd team

Walk on LaCrosse player / not on the depth chart DB Nathan Parodi is listed 1st Team Punt Returner

OFFENSE
TE - Hudson Henry
LG - Luke Jones
C - Ricky Stromberg
RG- Ty Clary
RT - Dalton Wagner (6'-8" 317)

DEFENSE
NT - John Ridgeway
MLB - Grant Morgan
WLB - Bumper Pool
CB - Hudson Clark

2nd team: LB Hayden Henry (older brother Hunter/NFL)
Other players to watch: LB Levi Draper (former Oklahoma transfer was injured last season) ; LB Jackson Woodard; DE Morgan Hanna

When Chandler was HC he recruited many white kids, mostly O-line , sad that he gone earlier than we thought, and current coach has no eyes for QB.
Felipe Franks and now KJ Jefferson ...

Hogs Defense looked very good against Texas, Ridgeway was almost unblockable and at times Arkansas played 5 whites on defense.

Good to hear! Hoping Arkansas and Ole Miss can pull a few more upsets this year and disrupt the status quo pecking order in the SEC!

If only this Arkansas team had a White QB..

According to PFF, Arkansas has allowed just one run of 10 or more yards this season.
This stat is more impressive when considering the Razorbacks played run-oriented programs like Rice with Luke McCaffrey, and Texas with potential 2023 RB1 Bijan Robinson. On the year Arkansas has allowed just 2.7 YPC and 109.5 yards on the ground thus far. And that's not to say that their pass defense has been porous, as they've only allowed 172 yards to go with one touchdown and three interceptions. The Hogs stout run defense will be tested this Saturday by Georgia Southern's triple-option attack before they take on Texas A&M in two weeks.
