Awesome news about Mary Beth Price Sant. It's strange how it's so hard to find videos of her races. Man can she fly and especially even more so for her short height!

Does Ramil Guliyev have some competition from a fellow teammate? Maybe so.

25 year old Ertan Ozkan ran a 10.31 into a negative 3.3 wind. That is a legitimate time I'm guessing equating to around a 10.15 but I don't have the conversion tool. Good news!
That is a corrected time of 10.11

I see that MB Sants husband Hunter price(lucky bastard) has qualified for the US Olympic trials as well, he had a PB of just over 8000 points. Well done! In the meet he set his new PB at; one of the athletes Rostam Turner is from my neck of the woods and I trained with him in sprints and SP.

Wow, when you consider her stature, she is one of the most powerful athletes to ever live. I wish she would have had a baby with Christian McCaffery

Is that a high school time? What if McCafferey devoted himself for 4 years of college to track. I'm sure he'd run faster than 10.7. And keep in mind McCaffery is related to David Sime. Somewhere in that gene pool is world class potential. Look at how fast his brother is. I think him and MaryBeth should have 5 kids to increase the odds. :)

Jenna Prandini has been M.I.A. for a few weeks now.
Hope she's okay for the Olympic Trials.

not trying to nitpick but it means something to me LOL. - Rohan's 10.05 had only +1.0 mps ...... equating to a basic 10.10 which is where I wanted him to progress to this year

I just looked her up - 5'1 and 103 pounds! Wow, that really is tiny. And a box squat of 355, well over triple her bodyweight! Interesting weight program aiming to build strength without size, to increase the overall power to weight ratio. Allyson Felix, who is also quite slim (especially for a black woman) said she did the same training and was much stronger without gaining a lot of muscle, and it seemed to work out well for her.

She looks incredible, and just ran a PB before the Olympic trials. Fingers crossed for her.

At the same meet a Lithuanian by the name of Gedimius Truskauskas won the 200 meters in a time of 20.53! Not to bad for a guy I've never heard of in my life. He is 23 years of age so maybe he will continue to improve.

1500/5000 American Champion Shelby Houlihan 28 yrs old tests positive for anabolics. Gets a four year ban and misses Olympic Games.
Being a White Female she is not a propaganda piece for the media parasites so she gets no protection from the USOC. We know the types to be protected when they deep into the PED game.

Ms. Houlihan’s excuse was she ate pork. Poor lady.

Fingers crossed for Tortu, but not holding much hope based on last week's performance.
Maybe hes still coming back from tweaking something at the World Relays.

After over a year of uncertainty and international deliberation concerning COVID-19, it appears that the Olympic torch will finally be lit, bringing the 2020 Summer games in Tokyo to an open on July 23.

This is welcomed news to athletes across the world, including many student athletes here in Athens. The University of Georgia has a rich Olympic history, producing Olympians dating back to 1936 and even hosting several events during the 1996 games in Atlanta.

Now, a new generation of Bulldogs begin their journey to Japan, but in order to get there, they must first compete with the nation’s best talent, making their way to beautiful Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon.

Fresh off top 10 finishes at the NCAA Outdoor Championships, Bulldog track and field stars turn their attention to the looming U.S. Olympic Team Trials set to begin June 18.

Within both the men’s and women’s squads lay several Olympic hopefuls looking to book their tickets to Tokyo 2020.

For the men, all eyes are on Matthew Boling, the standout sprinter and long jumper who rose to fame following his viral high school record dash. Boling is coming off of an outstanding outdoor season that saw him set school records and post blazing times for the men’s 100 and 200 meter at the 2021 SEC Championships, ranking him top five nationally. His best long jump ranks top 10.

Alongside Boling, runners Elija Godwin and Arian Smith look to try their luck at qualifying in Eugene. All three were part of Georgia’s stellar 4-x-100 team that placed second at the SEC Championships, breaking a school record, before continuing on to the NCAA finals where they again placed second and again broke their own record.

Mary Beth completed that 11.15 in 53 strides ..... which is what I took in my mid 50s for a 12.78. That's great turnover for her at 4.75 per second, equal to about 285/286 per minute which matches Shelley Anne Fraser's figure.
So each stride must be less powerful to a degree that leaves her stride length about 4% less than Fraser's (by my reckoning)

Mary Beth Sant Price , Hannah Cunliffe and Jenna Prandini are all entered in the 2021 US Olympic Trials Womens 100 meters. Let's hope that they do good as the field is stacked with so much talent. Haven't got a chance
to see the starting list for the womens 200 meters yet or any of the mens sprint events. Good luck to all of our guys and gals this weekend and into next week.
