Pre-Caste System a big, strong, fast and elusive running back like Ryan Nall with proven productivity would have been drafted early, quite possibly in the first round. But it is always very difficult for White running backs to get an opportunity in the NFL. For every Christian McCaffrey, who had a famous NFL father and was the rare White RB recruited by a big-time program where his brilliance was undeniable, there are dozens and dozens of Ryan Nalls.

Hopefully Ryan makes the Bears and eventually is given a fair opportunity to showcase his skills. This article is optimistic:

Ex-OSU Beaver Ryan Nall predicted to earn roster spot with Chicago Bears: Report

By Geoffrey C. Arnold

The Oregonian/OregonLive

Ryan Nall and Randin Crecelius are hoping to earn a roster spot with a NFL team this summer. Both players are undrafted free agents, but they have an opportunity of reaching their goal, according to separate reports on each player.

Nall, the former Oregon State running back, signed with the Chicago Bears. According to a post on isportsweb.com, new Bears head coachMatt Nagy may have doubts about starting back Jordan Howard, particularly in his ability as a receiver. Nagy also said he plans to use "multiple backs" in 2018. Nall is a bigger and more powerful back than Howard or Tarik Cohen and the post noted Nall's ability to catch passes out of the backfield, giving him the kind of versatility that Howard lacks.

"At 6'2, 232 pounds, Nall is able to play both running back and full back, and has done so throughout his tenure in Oregon. Nall's senior season alone produced 1,684 yards with 22 touchdowns. While he is a bigger back, Nall has deceptive speed and elusiveness, posting a 4.58 forty at the combine. Nall also excels catching the ball out of the backfield as he totaled 56 receptions for 563 yards and four scores in his collegiate career. His raw power and vision are evident on film, and he should be an intriguing addition to an already captivating Bears' offense."

Ryan Nall had a Relative Athletic Score (RAS) of 8.21. This is very good as the scale goes from 0-10. He had a higher RAS than Derrius Guice, Rashaad Penny, Kerryon Johnson and Ronald Jones. That means, according to this metric, Nall is more athletic than Guice, Penny, Johnson and Jones.

Penny was drafted in the 1st round. Guice, Johnson and Jones were drafted in the 2nd. Nall went undrafted, even though he was productive in college in both the run and pass game.

Penny, Guice, Johnson and Jones are black. Nall is white. The reason why Nall went undrafted is because of anti-white discrimination and racism.

If Nall is given a chance there is a high probability he will be successful in the NFL. Because of anti-white racism that's a big if.

It would be nice to see some running back RAS scores from later rounds and other UFAs..
From a few years ago, I’d love to see Zach Line vs Matt Asiata.....Line was so damn productive in college but had to move to fullback......Asiata, at least had a chance.....Similar size, different paths......

Here's an analysis of Ryan Nall from the perspective of analytics. It's favorable.

The same old crap. Yes, how unthinkable that Nall might be a better running back than the immortal Benny Cunningham or the midget Tarick Cohen:

I've watched videos of running back Ryan Nall. He looks like a great fit for the Bears. Can you tell us how he performed during the offseason and if you think he has a shot at making the team?

Scott K.

With Jordan Howard, Tarik Cohen and Benny Cunningham at running back, rookie Ryan Nall's best chance to make the Bears' 53-man roster is as a fullback and special teams contributor. The Oregon State product caught the ball pretty well during offseason practices, but the big tests for him will be how he performs as a blocker when the pads come on in training camp and how he fares on special teams in the preseason. Nall possesses the position versatility the Bears like, and I feel he has the best chance to earn a roster spot among the team's undrafted rookies if he plays to his potential.

Let’s compare college productivity, combine data, size and intellect with all 3 other backs mentioned......There would be no mentioning of moving to fullback for Nall......None at all....

His yards P / A college average is actually better than Saquon Barkley so for sure this type of talk is just related to him being white

Nice vids - Nall looks fantastic. You can see his second gear once he gets into the secondary.

And right on cue I find this:

Ryan Nall
We expected Nall to be a name that would make some of the loudest noise in camp. It is far too early, but he has been quiet. In the clip above, you can see Nick Kwiatkoski owning him in pass protection.

He also has not taken any significant snaps with prominent players. It is far too early, but Nall seems to be in catch up mode at this point.

https://beargoggleson.com/2018/07/25/chicago-bears-training-camp-rumblings-running-back/

Nall got caught off balance and ran over. But the people who wrote that article don't know what they are talking about as that's not a pass protection drill, it's a special team drill. I guess the two long TD runs didn't make any noise for them.

Off topic, but if Nall was going to be flattened, good to see it was by Nick Kwiatkoski. The Bears' heralded first round draft pick, the smallish ILB Roquan Smith, still hasn't signed his rookie contract, and Danny Trevathan is sidelined again by an injury. Seemingly the Bears and of course the media and DWFs keep trying to bury Nick but it's proving hard to do. My gut feeling is that one way or another, this tackling machine is going to play a lot in 2018.

Nall is listed as the 5th string running back on the Bears' first depth chart. The "bright side" is that he's listed only as a running back and not also as a fullback. If he makes the team he's actually only a Jordan Howard injury away from seeing some action, possibly a lot of action if he does well.

I read a report on how he has to leapfrog a crowded and “loaded” backfield......
The likes of Howard, Cohen, Cummingham, etc are that intimidating???

Cunningham is a scrub. Cohen is a 5'6" third down back. The 5'8" Danny Woodhead was almost always called "small," "short," "diminutive," etc., but those same adjectives are rarely applied to Cohen.

Howard has been a durable workhorse his first two seasons, a solid runner with limited receiving skills though he's supposedly working hard on improving in that area. Nall can run and receive, giving him the ability to play all three downs if needed. He should be seen as Howard's backup, or at the very least right behind Cunningham as Howard's backup initially if he makes the team and they don't otherwise screw him over. That's why in a best-case scenario, a Howard injury or fall-off in play, Nall could make an impact even as a rookie. But this is the NFL so. . .

From what I've been reading, Nall and Taquan Mizzell will both get a lot of touches tomorrow night in the Hall of Fame game between Chicago and Baltimore. Nall is battling Mizzell and Bennie Cunningham to back up Jordan Howard. The media hype will center around Lamar Jackson, but Nall is the player I'll be watching.

I still don't get how they can pull this garbage off and no one calls them on it. In the last 3 years, Brandon Wegher, Zach Zenner and now Ryan Nall? Our guys are constantly getting the shaft.

I've posted a number of times over the years about how unrealistic that is at the present time and why. What is more realistic, albeit also not likely to happen, is for us to try to develop alternative scouting resources and alternative reporting of sporting events and personalities. That would take financial resources, though nowhere the kind needed to file and attempt to prosecute a many years long class action suit against the NFL and/or the NCAA and/or one or more of the scouting services that would almost certainly up end losing.

That's what we should be aspiring toward, an expansion of Caste Football's reach. The alternative media is what's put such a dent in the system's stranglehold over the minds and hearts of the American People. And that's the only way to really get after the Caste System.

Before that (in 12') Nate Euchus was also purged....tore it up preseason (finished 3rd in NFL) only to be rewarded by switching to undersized Fullback at 5'-10" 212lbs where he got a few token carries;then faded away into oblivion.

Absolutely pathetic Nall would be switched to FB/H-back....how many Fullbacks break runs of 69 yards?? And makes plenty of long runs on a consistent bases... James Connor is given the opportunity now with the Steelers...he's not faster than Nall.

More bs on why the anti-White Nagy won't give Ryan Nall an opportunity. The gist of the article is asking if the Bears should keep the sluggish Jordan Howard around. Actually, Nall is a much better receiver than Howard, and is a more elusive runner and I would bet faster as well:

Do you think Jordan Howard is in the backfield next year?

That is the question of the day! I came away from the season-ending presser convinced he’s not Nagy’s guy — even though the coach didn’t say that. But over the past three seasons, only Todd Gurley and Ezekiel Elliott have rushed for more yards than Howard.

He’s not one of the three best running backs in the game, but he is one of the three most productive runners now, and you’re not going to just get rid of him or sell/trade him cheap when you have no other answers on the roster.

Tarik Cohen is just too small to be a starting running back, Taquan Mizzell did nothing to suggest he even belongs on the roster. Benny Cunningham is a free agent and no better than a No. 3, and while many of us thought undrafted free agent Ryan Nall was exciting in the preseason, he’s the same style back as Howard and that appears to be Nagy’s problem with him.

He’s under contract one more year and cheap because he was a fifth-round pick, so I think he’s back, but the Bears will do all they can to give him competition and try to replace him.

Jordan Howard was traded from the Bears. This may open up a spot for Ryan Nall. Unlike Howard, Nall is a good receiver. he fits the Bear's offense better.

However, we all know how white running backs are treated. Maybe the Bears will surprise us.

Here's a video of Nall's game against Oregon. He looks like a pro talent to me. Check out the block at 2:17.

Running back Kareem Hunt had a very successful rookie season with the Chiefs. He ran a 4.62 in the 40.

Yet Ryan Nall, who is bigger than Hunt, ran a 4.58 and supposedly this made him too slow to play in the NFL.

Hunt was drafted in the third round and got a chance. Nall was an undrafted free agent, did well in preseason, but got no chance in the regular season.

Your caste system at work.
