I guess one piece of good news is that Manning has taken another big step towards quieting his silly critics with this dominating performance today. He beats his arch nemesis and is one win away from completely securing his legacy as the greatest QB of all time.

Looks like the Broncos are in the SB. Man, hope they can get the win there. Congrats to NE for a successful season and kudos to the white trio of receivers who were instrumental in getting NE this far. Hopefully Collie will secure a spot next year at NE. NE has to improve their achilles heal the defense.

To me this was a win-win game. Really happy for Peyton Manning and his opportunity to win a second Super Bowl.

I agree to see Manning, Decker and Welker tear it up in the super bowl will be good, but gutted my pats couldn't make it, really disappointed felt they had a good chance but they were poor defensively up front and in the offensive line which cost them didn't win those battles at all. Mankins getting skinned by fat sumo Knighton summed it up :(

Not to mention Denver has a better chance against whoever wins the NFC coal-bowl. NE's defense is just plain awful and would probably make Wilson or Krapernick look good.

Yes, if he can win a second SB he will be in the conversation as to who is the best QB of all-time. Unitas, Montana, Brady, or Manning, or of course my favorite Staubach!

If Manning wins, we'll start a thread on who's the best QB of all-time. Should be a good debate!

Welp, good luck to Peyton and the Broncos in the Superbowl!!! Unfortunately, now we have to hear all offseason about how Tom Brady has no receivers...

Just look at the end of that game, a sea of photographers surrounding Manning, every camera is on him, he IS the Broncos. Again, let's not get caught up in the number of white starters for Denver.

Go Broncos, somewhat thankful that we don't have to see Patriots run defense go against Seattle or San Francisco.

Watching the post-game ceremony on the field, can't help but be struck by the huge difference in English speaking ability between the Whites interviewed by Jim Nantz and the two blacks, Rod Smith and Demaryius Thomas. Smith announced the trophy as being won by the "Denver Bronco" [sic], while Thomas spit out several "you knows" per sentence. But we do know all those blacks can easily master the ever more "complicated" NFL offenses and defenses.

This is the most frustrating angle about the loss, it's never they are an amazing offensive minded team with a poor defense that came up just short, it's always the receivers fault. It gets to me year after year.

I'd hardly associate that with intelligence or the lack of.

If the Broncos win the SuperBowl.......and Welker wins MVP it will all have been worth the Patriots losing. If Welker can have a big game and erase memories of the 'drop' I think it will put him in the HOF.

Don't know if i will even bother watching this game, deflated after the NE loss.

Know what you mean, Pats just didn't really turn up disappointing really disappointing really hoped if we lost could of lost playing well.

Dunno who i would rather lose, 49ers are probably more odius especially idiot harbaugh but the seahawk crowd are all nutters and like i said hope arrogant Sherman falls flat on his face so maybe they could both lose lol.

Not only because of the 2 white receivers and white QB, but because of the national acceptance of what the Broncos are all about keeps me from feeling bummed about the NE loss.

I keep hearing the Broncs referred to as the Denver Mannings or the Denver Peytons. People accept the truth to that teams success, so I find them much less aggravating than other teams with so few white starters.

It's poor diction due to their lack of intelligence and education, and not anything else.

Old Scratch, what's your take on a recent poster saying black people's skull on the average fuses sooner than whites, thus stopping brain development at an early age and that black toddlers walk sooner than white toddlers. What do you think?

He posted this over on the Happy Hour thread, Got Casted in High School.
