Paulie is a w'r no doubt. He probably wouldnt even want us as fans. He probably thinks were all a buch of "racisssssssstt". What can you expect from a kid from the gutter, who grew up surrounded by "diversity"? Im a fan of his because hes tough, fast, and operates almost exclusively on heart, and bravery. I dont think I coulod be his buddy, but I do respect the hell outa him. I was going for Senchenko, but found myself grinnin like a fool, and proud of the Italian when it was over.

I know Paulie does have some annoying wigger traits, but he did get thrown out of high school because he brought an assault rifle to school to shoot a bully. I've never liked Paulie either, mainly because he's an effeminate Mayweather-worshipping wigger and he's been a poor sport and crybaby by times.
But I give him full credit for going overseas and winning a title. Mayweather, Ward, and Hopkins never leave the US, because in their home country they can rely on crooked home officials if needed (such as Cortez in the Mayweather-Hatton fight, and Jack Reiss in the Ward-Kessler fight).

Paulie predicted that Cotto will pull the upset Saturday. Just read it on ESPN boxing. Also, he must be listening to CFers(Werewolf), becuase he got rid of the predator haircut and now sports a normal cut.

Paul has the same problem as Calzaghe with his hands. If he sits on his punches his hands will keep breaking, though I don't think Paul ever had the power Joe C had.

Garcia should also look good in retiring HOFer Erik Morales. His best days were a decade ago! Impressive that he can still be competive at his age and all the wars he has been. Guess he has an affeletic problem..............being broke after making millions during his career.

Walnuts gets a SD win with scores of 114-113, 114 113, and one judge gave it to the Mexican 118-109. Thats kind of strange. Im really wanting to see the fight. Paulie was knocked down in the 11th.

I thought the Mexican (who looks and behaves more like a white man than Paulie) deserved to win the fight. I didn't score it, but Dan Rafael had Cano winning 115-112 and that seems about right. But because the fight was in Brooklyn, Paulie was gifted by two of the three judges.

Thanks Carcharias thats what I was wondering. Two close scores and one blowout like that is always hard to tell what kind of fight it was. So Walnuts got a little home cooking huh?

I thought he won the fight, but it was close I thought the 114-113 scores were accurate. The other judge was out to lunch IMO. Paulie Walnuts is going to have problems in this division if he fights big welterweights that dry out to make 147. In the post fight interview he complained of the size of the Mexican and this guy was a blown up lightweight who screwed up on making weight.
I like Malignaggi. He was gifted with great athletism and boxing skills. However, he seriously lacks in any punching power. He always comes in great condition because his life and career depends on it.
He has never had it easy, like his life and death struggle with future HOFer Miguel Cotto. Cotto was brutalising him the second half of their fight. Yet, Paulie always fought hard with the spirit of trying to win. He never quits, and courageously hangs in, trying to win without stopping power.
I will always consider Paulie a true warrior in that he steps in the ring, knowing he has limited power, but relies on his skills, condition and courage to win the day.

The first time I saw Malignaggi interviewed he was wearting a ski bunny thing on his head to pull back his hair, and I thought wiggerish metrosexual. It was a bad first impression and a wrong one really, because the kid has proven to be super tough with a ton of guts.
I just with he was more of a threat to knock guys out. I'm getting older and meaner and I don't have the time or patience to watch UD 12s any more. I want knockouts.

All of the stoppage losses that he has on his record his corner pulled him because he had no chance of winning but was never really on the verge of getting ko'd. This time was probably the closest he was to losing by a legitimate 10 count. WIS, damn I was looking for this thread but had to go all the way to back to 2008 to post on a another Malignaggi thread. Guess I am tired. But great performance by Pualie. The best pure boxing exhibition in a long time by an elite fighter.

He outboxed, outsmarted, and thoroughly outclassed Judah. This fight was extremely one-sided and Zab looked amateurish and slow compared to Paulie. I remember a time a few years back (mid 2000's) when American fans considered Judah to be one of their best, P4P-level fighters. What's interesting is that when both Judah and Malignaggi were coming up the ladder, Judah was far more celebrated and received much more media attention than Paulie, but now that they've fought we can see Malignaggi is the vastly superior boxer.

You guys are spot on about Paulitch. But what he's always lacked was power. He actually has power, but doesn't know how to activate it. He never learned how to mix speed punches with power punches like the Pacman does. Of course, I never had a chance to train him .
