The Pirates could use a new Andy Van Slyke in the OF next year. I'll have to live through a 2012 full of comments on sites like Bucs Dugout that range from, "Oh, just give Tabata another year. He's going to be great," and "Alvarez will be a star one of these days. The fans just need to be patient with him for another year or two."

Presley

well after Presley had a great start to his career, now all I read on the pirates sites is how we need to trade him (usually for a black or hispanic player) to make room for our new superstar Marte. Yeah boy, then we would be great. Marte, McCutchen and Tabata. And according to these fans, Presley at best could be the fourth outfielder, if kept. Plus, they hate the fact the pirates added Barmes at short. Of course, they wanted any assortment of hispanic shortstops over him. And now it seems they all are salivating over Kendrys Morales to use at first. Of course they hate the idea of Garrett Jones, Nick Evans or Jay Fox manning the position. Are we getting the picture here? In fact, several fans have openly admitted the pirates need for players of color so McCutchen will not feel surrounded by a sea of white faces. Sickening

I've been getting the same impression on some sites like Bucs Dugout, skipperron. The possibility that most of the IF spots might be taken by Jones, Evans, Fox, Walker, McGehee and Barmes seems to bother a lot of the DWFs. They keep crying for more patience in Alvarez's case, and pulling for Harrison to be a backup IF.

Amen to That

The pirates faithfull on all the sites are always imagining who they would trade and who they would get. And the players always mentioned trading are Jones, Presley, Hanrahan and now once again McLouth. And they are always wanting to trade FOR hispanic or African-American players. And they want Harrison to make the team. He is a horrible fielder and has no punch at the plate.Hey, I could see Marte on the pirates but why not trade McCutchen to make room for him, like they did to McLouth. Andreww does not want to be in Pittsburgh anyway. He acts like he hates it there and his numbers in the second half last year were horrible

More

Also have you noticed how usually when we get white players they are replacing white players. This year though we have Barmes replacing Cedeno and Jones and McGehee replacing Lee. Maybe that is why the fans are so upset

Looking back to his days with Colorado, Clint Hurdle can NOT be considered a skipper that is hostile towards white. I haven't looked at the Bucs current roster, but they should be a team I will root for based on their lineup in 2011 and some of the recent trades they made. Good luck to Clint!

James MacDonald

James MacDonald made the first spring training start for the Pirates yesterday, while these games prove nothing,he left the ball in the strike zone entirely too much taking us back to all of last season, very seldom did he make it out of the fifth inning, and was pulled before he could look make himself look bad, there is a golfer out there who gets less camera coverage in all matches this year as his game declines, wonder why these men are protected?

Here we go again

A new season and already the same old thing. Pirates rushed to sign Tabata last year to an extension and now they have extended our face of the team McCutchen. The fans are wetting themselves they are so ecstatic. However, I have already read 4 articles about how we should NOT now extend Neil Walker. In fact one suggests we just trade him to a team that could use him as a utility player. So Of course the white player should not get signed and heck of course he is not good enough to start anywhere else. Of course he was just the second best overall second baseman in the national league last year. Plus they are calling for Marte and Bell to hurry up and join McCutchen in the outfield. Never mind that Presley has done everything the team wants and more or that Grossman is a top talent. These writers and fans have started getting on my nerves earlier than ever.:help:

Here We Go Again

Now everyone on the pirate site I am at is now calling for Josh Harrison to start at second and Neil Walker to go to the bench. They claim that they all knew he would fail after just "one" decent year. :der:

The Pirates are looking at a 20th consecutive losing season. The pitchers, 9 of 11 white, have been doing their job. But they have few players hitting and it's sending them to one loss after the other. I keep hearing that Pedro Alvarez and Jose Tabata are going to be stars, but another year or more will be wasted to prove they are backups, at best. At the same time, one DWF after the other continues to criticize Neil Walker.

Must have been like watching a game in the early-to-mid 1960s.

Changes Again!

The Pirate brass again prove that they are more commited to diversity and multiculturalism than winning, the team had a nice run going and was playing solid baseball and the lineup was changed,Pittsburgh just had to "Pedro"and "Jose"back in there, and immediately lost three games in a row to Baltimore,it was being proven that Casey Maghee, and Garret Jones were playing well at third base and right field respectively,so what do the Pirates do?,change their positions!,there is nothing that will shake a players confidence more than pulling them from a position that they are comfortable at,we know so much more now about the war against the White male in all areas that it is not a stretch to feel that these White players are being moved around to serve a purpose.

Lab Man, What's your take on MacDonald? Seems to have good stuff, and is pitching well, but do you think he has what it takes to put it all together and not sink into normal negro behavior?

Not A Front Line Starter

No Tom Iron I do not, every time this guy gets near a hint of trouble he is pulled out of the game, the White starters are left in games longer to figure it out for themselves,MacDonald's slider is many times up in the zone or in the dirt,it is quite evident that he pitches on a Friday night,Saturday,or Sunday, because he can be showcased for all of the wrong reasons,of course baseball attendence along with T.V. ratings are higher on the weekends and the same situation holds true for many teams featuring Latin pitchers,Selig and crew will do almost anything to fool us into believing that non white starters are the same or better than White ones,it is the same old cultural marxism theme at work here as in mainstream society,Don Wassall will tell you that the Pittsburgh "Drunk White Fans" are some of the easiest in the country to con,and this of course carries over to Steeler football season.

Out,White Legend Players !

Pirates manager Clint Hurdle felt it would be a nice touch to bring !960's star players Bill Mazeroski, and Bill Virdon into the dugout for Tuesday nights game against the Twins, they were in uniform and could be seen talking with and advising young players,an enjoyable experience for sure, not so fast Clint,Pirate brass received a call from an MLB official advising that this will not happen again because "there are rules limiting the number of uniformed personnel in the dugout",in an interview after the game Hurdle said,"it did not surprise me"!,I wonder what part of the experience did not surprise him?,there is a lesson here for other MLB managers such as,oh say Buck Showalter of the Orioles,if you are going to bring two ex-Baltimore legends such as Eddie Murray,or Al Bumbry into the dugout, you must send two players to AAA or cut them,or must you?

Greg Brown: Clueless Pittsburgh Pirates Announcer

During last night's game against the Colorado Rockies, the Pirates' top-notch middle IF combination of SS Clint Barmes and 2B Neil Walker turned a nifty double play. Brown then shouted, "Two more scoops of vanilla! Barmes and Walker, how about that play? The Blue-Collar Boys!"

Need I say anything else?

To Tom Iron...........!

Tom,recently you asked my opinion of James McDonald as a front line starter,"Jay-Mac",as he is lovingly referred to by his adoring DWF's,and Bucco broadcasters who slobber every time they speak his name just had his sixth bad outing with his ERA elavating to 8.71,when interviewed about his diminishing abilities he said the following,"I can't put my foot on it yet,if I could,I would have pitched better"!

Travis Snider comes to Bucs!

Twenty four year old outfielder Travis Snider came to the Pirates from Toronto,A good pick up in my opinion,I have followed this guy from the start of his career and saw the usual discrimination against him because of the caste system,it was the same old story of shifting him from position to position and up and down from the majors to the minors causing confusion as to where or if he belonged, common ploys used against White American players,of course the DWF's in Pittsburgh are screaming for Victorino,Pierre, and Choo to add to the multiracialism that pervades most teams.

Snider And "Jay-Mac"

Travis Snider blasts a three run homer and also singles in a loss to the San Diego Padres,Snider has shown he performs well hitting from the #2 spot,so what do the Pirates do?,drop him down to #7 or 8 almost every other game, must not let him rise above his diverse teamates,"Jay-Mac"gives up 7 earned runs in this loss,no where to hide now!,the fine third baseman for San Diego,Chase Headly homered twice last night, once from each side of the plate, ironic that the Bucs had a chance to trade for Headly, but third base is locked up for "Pedro"!

It's hilarious how often blacks mangle common figures of speech, always with the White interviewer carefully making sure not to change his facial expression. Many of the AA hires in broadcasting booths do it also.

8.71 ERA? Surely we simply need to be more patient until J-Mac realizes his tremendous upside.
