I have never really put much stock in this tradition, but this spin on the tradition is basically an abomination against it's spirit. If I was on the school board and saw this I would just vote to end the tradition, rather than have this sick spin on the tradition....:thumbdown:

It's bad enough these two degenerates have succombed to the perversion of the world, but to pervert Christianity by wearing a cross is disgusting and sad.

The "king" and "queen" are elected separately so the girl wearing the cross is probably the "queen" and has nothing to do with the "king". She could of course make some kind of stand and protest another "girl" as king but it would just ruin her life at a time when she is probably very happy so I wouldn't go to hard on her.

Yeah, I think you're right, I saw something to that effect on another website. So I stand corrected. Anyway what difference does it make, there are plenty of Christian religions that bless gay relationships so wearing a cross means nothing in that regard. Lots of kids wear crosses, they see celebrities wearing them so they ape that. It means nothing to most of them.

No, there are no "Christian" religions that bless gay relationships! It's "people's" own interpretation that perverts Christianity and The Bible.

There is nowhere in "The Christian Bible" that blesses gay relationships! Period!

Because of this, God gave them up over to "shameful lusts". Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due "penalty" for their "perversion".

I challenge any homosexual to show me where it says that Christianity and the Bible blesses gay relationships!

Thou hast rightly stated. Only apostate "Christians" give a pass &/or embrace homosexuality. The Lord's Word is clear on such.

This story above is sickening, but of no surprise given our vile, sinful, depraved society (with the endless demonization of traditional, Christian values & morals).

The name of the High School is Patrick Henry. I wonder what Henry would think of this, he's probably rolling over in his grave that this is happening at a school with his name on it.
