I don't think Minn should be reviled team from CF perspective, due to fact that Toby Gerhart could See considerable time epecially if AP starts dropping the ball, pun intended! Or if affeletic injuries mount.

Tennessee is despicable. They have AA product Vince Young at quarterback and that's saying a lot. Even though they kept Mariani he will be buried on the depth chart and probably won't see any playing time. I'm guessing he's one of the token white players allowed in the league at a skill position to not make the Caste system too obvious to the DWF's.

It's clear that Brad Childress is not in charge of the team. Like so many coaches he's forfeited the team to the lockerroom blacks. What kind of coach allows cheap shots on their high draft pick running back and doesn't say a word? What kind of a coach so fears a lockerroom backlash that he trades away his best back-up QB?

With all this in today's NFL the Vikings are still hard to root against in comparison to most teams. Their defensive star is a white man, Jared Allen, and they he has two starting white teammates - Chad Greenway and Ben Leber. That's actually one or two white players above average. I know, it's crumbs to the peasants.

On offense they star Brett Favre, for now and they have white number 2 or "2A" running back. Chilly, hasn't decided how he will list that yet. Maybe they will list Gerhart as #3, or #2 with an asterisk. The footnoted asterisks will have some white running back disclaimer with a promise to the teams bros that he won't get too many carries even in case of emergencies.

What a sad pathetic job coaching in the NFL has become. Can't really even call it "coaching." They need to change the title of coach to Head Cheerleader, Team Motivational Speaker, or Diversity Coach. Edited by: Kaptain Poop

Apparently the Vikings are shopping for a tall receiver to replace Sidney Rice. They are reported to be interested in Ruvell Martin (500-600 total career yards) and Demetrius Williams (about 1,000 career yards). Gee, I wonder where they could find a tall fast former number one receiver with better career stats? Anybody know of one that is available?

Surely the Vikings would never shame their franchise by signing the infamous "criminal" Matt Jones...

Please Toby take me back to the years of my youth on Sundays, by playing next weekend. Having watched bits and pieces of the games thus with loaded AA affelets and scrubs, it is making me mentally ill.

It's a joke that Kevin Curtis hasn't been signed by a team, at least as a backup.

Matt Jones' NFL career appears to be over. He'll be forever ritually stigmatized as a "cokehead" and a "bust," to the always approving applause of the DWFs.

The Vikings already have a very capable WR in their practice squad. He showed some great ability to make catches in the pre-season. He's 6'2/210, and certainly fits the criteria of being a big, tall receiver.

Ooops, he's Logan Payne and is of the wrong skin color. Nevermind. I'm sure the Vikings will sign some bum off the street or recycle an old fossil. I believe Amani Toomer might be available. Edited by: foobar75

All kidding aside, I saw two things watching the Vikings. Favre isn't completely healthy and the Minnesota receivers are atrocious without Sidney Rice. I saw last month that one prominent fantasy "expert" said the loss of Rice wouldn't affect Favre. Really? Dynamite drop-in buddy. I suppose Tony Romo would be fine is he lost Miles Austin, too.


Anyway, I like Camarillo in PPR leagues moving forward. Some people were all excited about Bernard Berrian when Rice went down. Apparently those people never saw Berrian play football. He's terrible. And how can Greg Lewis still have a job in the NFL? This guy did nothing for years in Philly and now another team is allowing him to cash a paycheck for reasons I still don't understand. Lewis' longevity in the NFL is dumbfounding to me.


I expect Camarillo to slowly become Favre's favorite target. He may not score a ton of touchdowns but look for Camarillo to catch a lot of short passes from Favre in the coming weeks. I would jump on him now before Camarillo becomes a hot commodity in fantasy leagues.


It's a sad state of affairs when your receivers are so bad that Camarillo has the most upside but that's the situation the Vikings find themselves in. Good luck on that Super Bowl appearance boys.


By the way, have you noticed that Wes Welker is the new Ed McCaffery? Any white receiver is now compared to Welker, an honor McCaffery held for years. Al Michaels stated that Camarillo was a "Wes Welker-type" of receiver. He is? Camarillo isn't as fast as Welker. He isn't as quick as Welker. He isn't as explosive as Welker. So, in reality, the only thing the two have in common is that they're both white receivers. Just something to think about.

This brings up an interesting point. Thrashen mentioned it several days ago. Some people are waking up. Racial discrimination is mentioned in Wikipedia for Peyton Hillis and his constants snubbing by the DWF's.

I actually like the comparisons to Wes Welker... It's a huge compliment and it shows that a "Wes Welker type" is a huge benefit for every team.

It would begreat if Camarillo, Welker, Shipley, Collieand Amendola all catch 75+ balls this year. Despite their dissimilarities in size and abilities, it would help lessen the long-held stigma against White receivers, at least as slot receivers, just as Clark, Witten, Celek, Heap, Shockey and others have made White tight ends more acceptable.

The media buzz is that the Vikings are now interested in Vincent Jackson, who would still have to serve a 4 game suspension. Now how much sense would that make? Sidney Rice may return by midseason. Jackson is not only on his second DUI, but he has the audacity to be holding out on the Chargers. Could you imagine a white player not only suspended for personal conduct but then holding out - to be topped off with teams apparently clamoring to sign him????

Jackson has had two thousand yard season back to back, but would he have even come close if David Garrard or Byron Leftwich were throwing him the ball instead of Phillip Rivers? The last time Matt Jones was on the field he was on was on pace to do just that.

I would hate to see Jackson go to Minnesota. As evidenced by last season, Brett Favre can make a star out of just about any wide reciever (except Berrian and Greg Lewis). Jacksonville and Tennesse desperately need WRs. I say send him to those two teams so he can catch passes from Dumb and Dumber - then lets see how he does.

Maybe we should start a rumor that Jacksonville is interested in Jackson. In the NFL perception often turns into reality. Start spreading the rumor. Jackson to Jacksonville!!!

Well, that pretty much seals Brett Favre's fate. How could they think signing Baskett could save the season? They know he's nothing special and has no potential to emerge as a star. So why not sign their preseason and training camp best reciever, Logan Payne? Or take a chance on a phenomenial athlete like Matt Jones?

The NFL is a joke. Just swirling the same sh*t players around. Baskett's entire 6 year career equals Matt Jones' last year alone. Or like Kaptain Poop says, give Logan Payne a shot, there's nothing to lose.

Kevin Curtis was at the Eagles at the same time as Baskett. Even someone with half a brain could tell you who's the better reciever. There is nothing that Baskett can do better than Curtis apart from continuously failing. ARRRGGGHHHH!
