The 49ers release of Matt Wilhelm and the Seahawks release of Nick Reed are two more bad blows. Even the DWFs on the Seahawks fan forum are wondering about Reeds release. It is supposed to be an injury settlement. The NFC West, with the exception of the Rams, is becoming one of the worst divisions for white players.

Exactly, referendum.

Nick Reed (DL) - Seattle Seahawks

(Fri, Sep 3 - 10:32pm ET)

Seahawks waived DE Nick Reed with an injury settlement.
Reed didn't fit Seattle's new defense, so he was probably never going to last under Pete Carroll. The former Oregon Duck is coming off a knee scope. He could help someone on special teams and as a situational rusher.

So, Jones, Stokely, Toome and now Chad Hall released. Hopefully Hall and Toome make it onto the practise squad. This is disappointing, I was hoping at least one of those four, especially either Hall or Toome, would survive the cuts.

Malast had a monster game in the last pre season game, like 11 tackles 1tfl and 1 fumble recovery, apparantly Lovie paid no attention.

Bergeron cut by Falcons, is there a chance that either Strickland or Wolfe make it as last WR? Certainly don't have my hopes up. Also Dolphins cut Folsom which is extra disppointing because they also cut Spitller (expected) and Edds is on IR. So much for one token white backup linebacker.

Rams waived LB Bobby Carpenter.

It's fair to say the Cowboys got the better end of the trade that sent T Alex Barron to Dallas for Carpenter. The Ohio State product surprisingly lost out to Larry Grant for the starting weak-side linebacker gig by showing inferior physicality.

Here comes the purge. As per Saints RapidReport: Saints cut loose Evans: The Saints released veteran LB Troy Evans Tuesday. Evans was the team's special teams captain for the past couple of seasons, and he split time with the first-team defense at WLB at the start of training camp.

Wait till the Texans do the same thing. I moved to Texas a few years ago and started following them locally and was amazed how many of our guys were on the team. I imagine it's just a few more years though before they go the way of the Pats, Saints etc. Sad to see.

Horrible day for white WR's with Atlanta purging all three outside of Finneran, (Bergeron, Wolfe and Stickland).
However, I believe Ray Ventrone is on Browns and he has survived the cuts according to National Football Post.
It also looks like Woodhead, Charlie Martin (Panthers) and Nick Miller (Raiders) will make their teams.
The Steelers purge is the ugliest with Grisham, Urbik, Bailey and Hartwig all representing players who were on the team last year. The Steelers and Buccaneers are my two official root against at all costs teams right now.Edited by: referendum

Bobby Carpenter??? You've got to be freakin' kidding me. THey were pretty big on him last year.Wilhelm, Mike Furrey? Who is next, Welker?
For the life of me, I don't know why I put myself through this every year. This is literally insane. It's the freakin' DWF's. We've got 'em all over the place in TX and I just don't see how they can't realize what the hell is going on.

Back to hockey for me.

FWIW, Vikings are only going with four WRs right now, according to one roster analysis, so Logan Payne would have had a hard time cracking that rotation, what with his skin pigmentation challenges. Also, Stokely will either go on IR, or get an injury settlement, so its not an official cut, but either way two white WRs was too much for Denver, as it proved for Atlanta as well.

Are you F***ing kidding me Atlanta? They cut all three of their white WRs? For who? I thought at least two of our guys, maybe three, were destined to make the team- simply by virtue of the weak WR competition. I thought Strickland was the only guy without much chance at all of making the team. Why do I even pay attention to this National Farce League? How is this nation- the global leader in lawsuits by far- too blind to have their NATIONAL RELIGION sued?Edited by: ToughJ.Riggins

Tough J, all except for Finneran, and of course Meier is on IR.

Titans first batch of cuts suggests that Mariani will make team, also Panthers cut a black DE on roster bubble, suggesting Nick Hayden survives.

Tim Toone had a great pre-season. He looked VERY explosive and Detroit lacks depth at WR. Chad Hall looked GREAT in pre-season and even the idiot rowdy Eagle's fans took a liking to him- due to his work ethic and military service. Are Americans really this blind to what's going on? From my time in Jersey- I have a very low opinion of the U.S, but I'm told, by my father, Jersey is the arm pit of his nation. It seems the U.S is destined to stay a sheeple nation- with no ability (or enough awakened people) to fight back against RADICAL quotas, the two party farce system- and the police state.

Brian Finneran must be pretty popular here, as Air Tran airlines has him in their radio commercial. I hate to hear about the other White WRs getting cut though.
