Myron Rolle has to be one of the most humble, intelligent blacks I've ever seen play NCAA football. He was awarded a Rhodes scholarship and is supposedly taking classes at Oxford for pre-med classes to become a neurosurgeon.

The media loves to revere "smart black men,"Â￾ so I've seen numerous "human interest stories"Â￾ featuring Rolle in the past 1-2 years. If Rolle were a white DB (or any other skill player) with same good grades, football stats, and pedestrian 40-time"¦he'd be laughed at and undoubtedly undrafted. I've seen him play; he possesses the ordinary athleticism of, say, Rodney Harrison.

A racially unbiased NFL roster should look like that of BYU. 9-10 white starters on offense (maybe 1 black WR or backup RB), and 9-10 white starters on defense (with maybe an islander and a Myron Rolle-type as a S/LB hybrid).

In a fair NFL, he would be drafted in the 6-7th round as a Black Special Teams Demon.
I was listen to the pundits yak yesterday about Rolle. Mooch and Billick both wondered out loud if he was too smart for football. Mooch stated that he thinks too much and isn't instinctive enough. Also they wondered if he was fully committed to football. Both viewed him as 4th round plus draftee. I don't disagree with the skills evaluation. But at one time safeties were viewed as field generals(when the position was overwhelmingly White). Now they want pitbull type players. Edited by: white is right

Bo McNally from Stanford is another DB I forgot to mention with NO invite...are NONE of these other players really worthy of an NFL Invite to Indy??

Jordan Lake, Brad Phillips, Matt O'Hanlon, Matt Harris, Klint Kubiak, Cody Grimm, Kyle McCarthy, Bo McNalley and Shann Schillinger are guys I think should have gotten invited. I don't know enough about the other guys on your list Twenty Two, but we know our guys get snubbed every year starting after H.S graduation. And 100% black CBs as usual this year. The NFL "HATES" diversity. So who are the real haters here?

As far as Myron Rolle, I'd say he's a 7th round or priority FA SS prospect at this point. A 4.69 isn't an ATROCIOUS time for a safety and he played well for FSU when he was there, but hasn't played in over a year. He's very smart with a great work ethic and is a strong well built athlete. He also changes direction pretty well, but lacks great "big play" instincts. The guy graduated in 2 1/2 years in pre-med "while playing football" with a 3.78 GPA I believe.

There are several whites every year who play with the style of Rolle, but will never get the credit he does. Even if a smart white safety who played like Rolle could only "hold their own" with him academically- football is about more than school smarts obviously and the continued fawning over the future "Dr. Rolle" is race based.

It's like a reversal of "Rolles" lol. The smart white safety with the same style who ran the 4.69- would probably have better instincts to create turnovers and probably play ball as smart as Rolle, but no one would be talking about him.

Notre Dame football: McCarthy lives up to billing at NFL combine

Former Notre Dame safety Kyle McCarthy didn't run his way into a higher NFL Draft profile Tuesday, the final day for physical testing at the NFL Scouting Combine in Indianapolis.

But the 6-foot-1, 205-pounder from Youngstown, Ohio, was near the top of the leaderboard among safeties in bench press (tie for second, with 24 reps at 225), the three-cone drill (second at 6.74 seconds) and in the 20-yard shuttle (second at 4.13 seconds).

McCarthy's official 40-yard dash time wasn't released, but scouts unofficially averaged him at 4.65 seconds.

"That's about what was expected of him,"Â￾ said NFL Draft analyst Scott Wright of NFLDraftCountdown.com. "Speed is not his game. What he's going to have to sell himself as is a special teams player and a backup safety. I don't think anyone is looking at him as a potential starter."Â￾

Seems like Scott Wright is one of the biggest whores out there.

McCarthy could make a good starting safety at the next level. He has more athleticism and coverage skills than Roman Harper for the Saints who made the pro bowl, he mostly plays in the box. McCarthy would have more versatility than him but will likley be considered as a backup and special teams demon, just like Roman Harper's teammate, Chris Reis, who actually ran a faster 40/shuttle/and 3 cone drill than Harper and has looked better in coverage AND run support in the limited playing time he got as SS.

The only thing I give Scott Wright credit for is saying he and 2 people inside the combine timed Toby at 4.55. DWFs on his board were insisting he ran a 4.6+ and might even be slower than Dwyer because he wasn't listed on nfl.com (somehow they thought Toby's time was off by .1 and Dwyer's wasn't off at all) After he said that pretty much all of them shut up about it. Other than that hes had nothing positive to say about White players, even had Toby listed as a FB a few months ago but changed it to RB. He still slipped RB/FB into one of his articles on the combine that mentioned Toby, but Dixon and Blount are somehow pure halfbacks, running slower and having less agility.

Funny how 4.65 makes you a backup SS/special teams demon, even with a great 3 cone drill and shuttle but Joe Haden running a 4.6 is still the number 1 rated corner.Edited by: dwid

Is Toby going to be listed in the top performers for 40 time or not? In regards to Haden he's still projected as possibly a top 10 pick. It just goes to show you the incredible double standard. Also who wants to make a friendly bet that Paschall gets drafted despite running a 4.69?

Speaking of D-line, why wasn't Jan Jorgensen invited to the combine?

http://espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=146702

He's a BEAST against the run, and he has shown that he can provide a pass-rush, too. He's a DE, and I think he could be just as effective, if not more so, than Brett Keisel.

Jan is explosive, and it's probably better that he's not super-tall, especially with all the short black backs...

He should have been invited Deadlift. One white defensive lineman invited to the combine is the most blatant anti-white discrimination the NFL has put together yet. I'm sure a few white ends and tackles will catch on with some team as free agents but come on.

I am reading here that a black guy (Jeff Owens) did 44 reps, can anyone confirm that?

He's had knee injuries, and it might be fair to say that Owens' under-performed as a Georgia Bulldog.

BTW, Mark Richt's wife loves praising him as a "workout warrior." I'm waiting to see if she'll praise Ben Jones or some other "weak" White boy...

I agree Rolle is a test canary for the scouting bias that prevails in the NFL. Usually you will find a similar type player with an above average IQ playing for a military institute or Stanford and the scouts always say he is a great character guy, but he isn't a good enough athlete to make a team. They are saying Rolle maybe too smart, but nobody has suggested he isn't good enough yet.

Foxsports.com already listed Toby Gerhart as a top preformer and debunked the myth that he doesn't have great speed. That is coming from a pretty procaste site, I expect other sites to be fairer. I personally don't care what people write on thier blogs because it is irrelevant. Most sports sites have Gerhart listed as a late second round to early third round, I consider him an early second round.

You are right TwentyTwo that is a big list of white DB snubs. I'm sure McCarthey could've done with some company of his own kind! I didn't realise Bo Mcnally was a senior! How on earth was he not invited!?!? His overall college career stats are as good as any safety, but then again Stanford already had four players invited to the combine, all of which were white. To have 5 players from one college all being white I guess is against the rules.

Rolle could not have graduated in 2.5 years taking the required Pre-med courses. This BS about Rolle being such a genius is a made up story. First of all there is NO pre-med major in any university. Pre-Med means taking required courses in chemistry , biology and physics.Second, I would say it is just about impossible to take and do well in all the pre-med courses and earn enough credits for a bachelors degree in 5 semesters. Rolle would have take about 25 credit hours of courses including some of the most difficult undergraduate courses offered per semester. He would also have to spend many hours in the fall semester practicing and traveling with the football team while doing the work required for very difficult courses in physics , general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry , and biology. I don't think anyone white or black could accomplish this. This Rolle fairy tale is just propaganda to hide the fact that there are 100 whites with an IQ of 120 for every black with an IQ of 120 in the US.

I noticed that Rolle was used quite a bit in the NFL Network's promos for the Combine, no doubt in part because he "sounds White," i.e., no ebonics or black accent when he speaks. So his "measurables" are weak and his production in college was as well, but he is still expected to go in the second or third round because of his smarts. Interesting that, as jwhite96 notes, there are probably 100 White football players for every black one with a high IQ, but when have any of them been drafted high when they also had weak measurables and poor college production? I would venture to say never, or at least not since the 1970s. If intelligence was as valued as straight line speed over 40 yards the NFL would be as White as the NHL. The Caste System has all the angles covered. Edited by: Don Wassall

Great post Don!! I watched some of the Combine and as I mentioned in earlier posts I saw about 10 commercials with Rolle! I must admit I had never heard of him before but the hype was just ridiculous. It seems the system is showing quite a few flaws which the DWF may start to pick up.

I saw a New York times article in which Rolle was compared to the late Supreme Court Justice Byron "Whizzer" White as a scholar-athlete. White was famous as a Rhodes Scholar who was an All-American at Colorado in 1937 before a big contract (for the time) with Pittsburgh before going to study in England.

Does anybody know how well Rolle did on the Wonderlic test? He should have the highest score (if he is legit) but I bet his score was average when compared to the Whites who took it.

As far as blaming poverty for low iq's? This isn't my site. Don has done an excellent job with this website. I will not offend anyone I don't want to get into a full blown argument on this topic but your links are crap.
