Here is another asinine article I found on ESPN, citing a University of Central Florida "study" that showed that most school presidents, athletic directors, and coaches are white. No s###! I was shocked at the excellent responses to the article. I swear America has started to wake up. Some of the comments even note lack of diversity on the teams and at RB! Unfortunately though people think that most of the athletes are black. Having been a college athlete, I know that's simply not true. Blacks are only significantly represented on football, basketball, and track (and only at sprinting. Most other events and field events, including high jump, etc. are white). Baseball, hockey, soccer, wrestling, volleyball, swimming, lacrosse, etc. are 80% plus white at every school except HBCUs. Check the article for yourself:

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A new study finds a lack of diversity in the key leadership positions at Football Bowl Subdivision schools and conferences. The Institute for Diversity and Ethics in Sport at the University of Central Florida released the report Tuesday. It found that for the 362 campus leadership positions studied, more than 91 percent of the officials were white. The report examined positions such as conference commissioners, school presidents, athletic directors, faculty athletics representatives and head football coaches. It found that white men made up 77.5 percent of presidents and 82.5 percent of athletic directors. Institute director Richard Lapchick says "the numbers simply do not reflect the diversity of our student-athletes."Copyright 2009 by The Associated Press
