Very disappointing news...
Yes, we can hope he comes back strong and dominates down the stretch!

Apparently Danny is quite the Golfer as well!

White athletes are often talented in multiple sports. Many White NFL players are great baseball players too. I always get a laugh out of how black people said "golf isn't a real sport" until you-know-who came along, then it suddenly became a real sport. LOL

Shame about Woodhead retiring early. He was such an important caste-buster. We need multiple guys like him to complement the C-Mac types.

Just like gymnastics wasn't a sport until it "mysteriously" became one very recently. And now it's suddenly the 2nd most popular Olympic sport in the nation. LOL

Its funny how Blacks worship Tiger Woods who is a convoluted mixture of about 3-4 different races and is as much Asian as he is negro...

What a great video. It's about the most honest thing I've ever heard in the sports media. Wow! Thanks for posting that.

I'm guess I'm the exception here as I find it mostly demeaning and unenlightening. Danny is called "a little White guy playing running back" which is why fans liked him, while players like Julio Jones "won the genetic Power Ball" and "we all know why [players like Julio Jones are] in the league," blah, blah, blah, while Woodhead "had to scrap his ass off."

To me it's just the standard narrative that blacks are more genetically gifted and it's great to see the occasional White guy break through. Nothing about the systemic nature of the Caste System or of the Caste System itself, nothing about all the other potential Danny Woodheads out there who are routinely ignored, etc. Not that I would expect that as Kyle Brandt would have instantly been out of a job, and likely too the cutie Kay Adams merely for nodding in agreement too much. In fact the biggest "tell" is that this created absolutely no contrived "controversy" as it was kept within standard media narrative limits. If Danny had been in the studio all three would have likely patted him on the head, Benny Hill style, and sent him on his way. Little different from the game announcers who often note in amazement, feigned or otherwise, how a talented White player was a just a walk-on but never mention the blatantly obvious patterns of slotting and discrimination that repeat over and over and over and have for several decades now.

Yes, it was the usual demeaning and/or condescension that someone like Danny Woodhead gets from media types. The phrase "had to scrap his ass off" is supposed to mean Woodhead lacked physical ability. Danny Woodhead couldn't have played as well as he did if he wasn't very talented.

I noted in another thread that Pete Rose played off of this, saying idiotic things like, "I have no physical ability." Rose always talked tp writers and said what they wanted to hear.

I agree.

This clip is also from several years ago and has made no positive impact on the conversation that needs to be had regarding anti-White discrimination.

the only way in which an honest evaluation of Danny Woodhead would assert that he “had to scrap his ass off” is because of the Caste System.

Woodhead, without a doubt, won the genetic lottery. if memory serves, he set Nebraska state rushing and scoring records (game, season, and career) in football, led the state in scoring as a basketball AND soccer player, and ran a 10.5 100-meters. despite this, he wasn’t offered a single Division One scholarship. “weird,” huh?

he then went on to rush for more yards than anyone in college football history at Division II Chadron State. oh, and he won the Haron Hill Trophy. Twice! (that is the Division II equivalent to the heisman)

if that doesn’t validate his towering physical gifts, i don’t know what will. but, of course, since he’s a White man, he isn’t allowed to be discussed as a legitimate talent. see again the Caste System.

Even when a White guy runs a 4.3, if he’s considered too short he’s not a freak athlete! One of the many double standards. At this point I’ve lost track of them all.

Woodhead is a freak athlete regardless of his size. If anything I’d say it’s even more impressive with the times he’s put up at 5’8!

Being a life long track fan(especially the sprints), I would love to have seen Danny Woodhead running track in his prime. He would
probably sizzle some 60 meters times and I'm sure he would hold his own over the 100 too if he had trained for sprinting!

Yeah that 10.5 hundred meters is amazing for a shorter guy like him. I still remember a training camp clip of him catching a pass and running it into the end zone. Some upsider came up behind him sure he was going to run Danny down and Woodhead smoked him. Danny went on to have a great pre-season but they cut him anyway to keep Joe McKnight who ended up fizzling out.

And Danny got the last laugh.

I always thought all the teams misused Danny, I thought him running behind a power back to the next level where he could burn just about everyone on speed would have been the ticket.

I agree to an extent, but listen to the initial language Brandt uses… lunch pail guy, deceptive speed etc. He is mocking the caste language openly.

He then says, Woodhead, despite dominating D2, got an invite to Nebraska’s (the same Nebraska that didn’t offer him) pro day and put up a blazing time that would have topped all running backs invited to the combine.

Sure when he talks about Julio Jones winning the genetic lottery (both tall and fast) and not Woodhead because he measured under 5’8”, I don’t see that as a dig because it is true. Woodhead is short but blazing fast.

Jordy Nelson also won the genetic lottery (tall and fast) but you won’t hear him stated as such. But you hear it with Gronk. You heard it with Margus Hunt (who is the rare white who absolutely failed to live up to his potential).

But the open disdain in Brandt’s voice for the racist caste-speak is refreshing.

Our side has abysmal rhetorical skills, given a problem by an antagonist instead of reframing it to his or her advantage they go on like autistics trying to explain things to people that really don't care.
