I kept wondering why do the Celtics seem to be playing better without Gordon Hayward? Black togetherness? I could picture Gordon coming back soon a touch rusty and like last year they begin to falter and he gets blamed for it. But they lost a tight one tonight so some of that pressure is off at least for the moment. I have no idea when he is due back but if he does come back and finds his groove I will be able to swallow Miami losing. Additionally I can root for both teams. But if he remains absent or just a minimal contributor I am for Miami all the way.

Another great game by Dragic with 29 points and 7 boards. Tyler Herro was terrific too. Almost a triple double.

Hayward needs to get out of Boston imo. At first I had hope because of Stevens but he has pretty much gone full black power cuck since becoming their coach. Outside of Gordon and his bad luck with injuries .

Stephen A. Smith blamed Hayward for all their woes last season. He thinks he is the anchor weighing them down and he has been vindicated ( in a way) up until tonight's game. But if the Celtics continue forward without Gordon it will only give Smith more reason to gloat.

So if Gordon does come back and plays a bit of a savior role it will be a great kick in the ass to Smith. He thinks Gordon is a nobody and crucified him last year. And a lot of the media has underplayed his value over the years too.

Smiff has made a career out of talking out of his ass. He's openly anti White in his comments as well. So not surprised to see his criticism of Hayward. You know he would rather see some bruvas ball, more pleasing to his eye.

Jokic has been amazing this postseason. Led his team twice now from down 3-1, just sent home the title favorites. I don't expect the Nuggets to get any calls versus Bron Bron and the Lakers but maybe the Nuggets can prove me wrong again.

What a moron. Hayward is a great two way player, really efficient and unselfish on offense, good at moving the ball and moving without the ball and doing the little things for his teammates to succeed.

The shadow on that team was always Kyrie, he was the shadow on the Nets this season too, they were better without him even with a rehabbing KD also taking up a max slot in cap space. Boston upgraded from Kyrie and Rozier (Celtics have better chemistry with Kemba than Kyrie even if individually Kyrie is better he drags his team down with his poor attitude), and Brown and Tatum have improved this season.

Dragic is amazing but don't forget the super rookie sensation Tyler Herro.

Tyler Herro had 12 points, 11 rebounds, & 9 assists! Herro just missed a triple double. He also tied Dwayne Wades Rookie Record for most consecutive double digit scoring games by a rookie in Miami Heat History!

So the Heat win game 1 over the all-black (other than role player Theis) Celtics. Also, the Jokic lead Nuggets eliminate the all-black (other than role player Zubac) Clippers. I’d say that’s a good night we had.

Jokic had an incredible triple double. 16 points, 22 rebounds and 13 assists! Plus 2 steals and 3 blocks. Phenomenal!

The Heat go up 2-0 over the Celtics. Dragic was clutch at the end making big shots and scoring 25 points. Herro played good as well. Olynk got minutes as did Robinson. I didnt think they would make it out of tge first round yet alone go 10-1 so far in the playoffs. Its been a while since this many palefaces have played big minutes for a Finals team.

Good news cheering for them to win it all despite their treatment of Leonard.

There is no doubt that Dragic is the team leader with Butler being 2nd but the media always says its Jimmy Butlers Team. I wonder why? Lol.

Duncan Robinson also had 18 pts, 4 assists, 2 rebounds and 1 blocked shot. Not bad for a stat sheet stuffer. Dragic was and has been amazing. So happy for him. I'm sure the Suns regretted letting him go many times.

There is a bit of mystery surrounding the brilliant play of Dragic. I have long been a fan. While he has battled injuries on and off the past few years and he has shown himself to be a very good player in the past his performances of late have been off the charts. Ever since they returned to play in the bubble he has been playing the best basketball of his career. And come crunch time he has taken over several games.

Even us at CF couldn't have predicted that. Especially when you factor in his age where most players start to show slippage. I see no falloff even though that clueless caste hole Doris Burke belittled his athletic ability the other night. Then it hit me. Because of the bubble I suspect his girlfriend or wife haven't been around. What is that old soccer saying "no sex until after the season." Maybe that's it? He isn't getting laid. Whatever you do GM Pat Riley if they do make it to the finals don't fly Dragic's wife in. Ha.

The series isn't over and the Gordon Hayward shadow is becoming an interesting side story. That said Butler won't win any beauty contests but he is the prototypical blue collar player who had some key late steals last night. And Tyler Herro has instincts you can't teach. I like to watch team basketball and the Heat play that type of game.

LeBron James is "pissed off" because he only received 16 first-place votes out of 101 votes for MVP. He said apparently nobody has been watching the NBA this year. He's also upset that his son was filmed on social media smoking. I don't know what he was smoking and I am not hazarding a guess.

Truly living up to his nickname LeBitch James. As my old football coach used to say "leave your friggin ego at the door when you walk into this locker room!"

The media and the announcers doing the game were forthright in their praise for Gordon Hayward in his return from a month plus injury. It was unanimous. They liked what they saw. He played about 30 minutes but his stats weren't particularly noteworthy. He shot 2-7 from the field and looked a bit rusty. And he lacked his usual bounce. That said there was something different about the Celtics. The ball was moving around more and the Miami's defense had to account for Gordon now which opened up the floor more. There were several instances where you could see his affect on the game. Whether it be the way he can probe a defense off the dribble or make the clutch pass. He had two special passes . One was a highlight reel bounce pass and another was a long pass off a rebound for a break away flush. He also plays a sticky defense and came up with some steals.

If he can get back into shape and start showing the form he had in the bubble before his injury I don't think it is a stretch to say the Celtics have a shot at winning. For Miami Herro was hot as a pistol but it was the first game I can recall that Dragic didn't play all that great.

This may be the most important season in recent history. When was the last white majority starting nba team this good? 3 white starters, 3 white contributors. Heat leads 2-1 after tonite

Important is the right word. This team reminds me alot of the 80's Celtics, the 90's Jazz and 90's Suns. They are very fun to root for! Tyler Herro is a rookie sensation. He scored 22 pts tonight off the bench. The kid will be an all star in the near future. I
expected Boston to come out strong. Game 4 will be very close and hard fought. Miami needs to win it or the Celtics will even it up. I see a high scoring close game with Dragic bringing home the win! If the Miami Heat can go up 3 games to 1 it will be next
to impossible for the Celtics to bounce back. Miami is just too good. All around they have no weakness. Let's Go Miami Heat. Hope I don't jinx them like I did the NY Islanders in the NHL Playoffs.

The Heat took a commanding 3-1 lead in Boston tonight behind 20 year old Tyler Hero’s team high 37 points. He’s getting lots of praise on social media......

That was an all time performance by Herro. He has a precocious fearless game that one rarely sees in a player so young. He single handedly destroyed the Celtics last night. He was of fire the entire night. Scored from long range and on drives. Has a natural feel for the game you just can't teach. Looked like Jerry West junior out there. I am a big fan of Jeff Van Gundy and he has been praising Herro the whole series. He doesn't understand how Herro wasn't a first team all rookie selection.

I thought the Celtics had a chance especially with the return of Hayward but he looks a tad rusty still and it will be a tough climb coming back from a 3-1 deficit. Hayward is a good stabilizing force for them and they made it close last night but Herro was too much for them to handle.

Dragic played better last night and chipped in 22 points.

Dragic had a key late driving layup and three pointer that pretty much sealed the deal last night. He has played only one sub par game the entire playoffs. But where Dragic and even Hayward play next season are two of the biggest off season stories the media will be following.

Dragic will be a free agent next season. Recently the rumors are saying he will sign a one year deal with the Heat which should top all other offers. A couple of teams though are in a good financial position to nab him. None more interesting than the Mavericks which would team him up with his close friend and fellow Slovenian Luka Doncic. That would give Dallas a much needed infusion of a high IQ basketball player to assist Luka.

Hayward is in his option year next season. At this moment I can't tell what he will do. He could stay for one more year with the Celtics or could even sign a longer contract with them. He could opt out but that seems unlikely since his contract is so big. He also could play one more season there and then sign with someone else after next season?

Game 5 will be a spirited affair as the Celtics try to stay alive. They have to hope Herro cools down at some point.

Dragic has been amazing. I feel like he never misses a shot and some of his layups are incredible.

Herro took over that game. Incredible performance by any player let alone by a rookie in a conference final game. He played like a superstar. In fact he's outshone Butler this series. In the post game press conference Butler even admitted the win was on Tyler.

The NBA product is horrendous. Between the blatant rigging, and the corporate virtue signalling and white guilt browbeating, I will never watch another second of NBA basketball.

The Celtics stayed alive last night pulling away in the 4th quarter. C Daniel Theis had a big game blocking shots rebounding and surprisingly scored points too. Even Enes Kanter scored well early. Gordon Hayward still looks rusty and sluggish although he did have a couple of nifty late baskets. He finished with 10 points on 4-9 shooting. The Heat better hope he doesn't get his bounce back.

In the loss Dragic, Herro and Robinson actually all played well but it wasn't enough. Game 6 should be real test for both teams. It will be on right after the late afternoon Sunday football games at 7:30. This series has been fascinating to watch. Good basketball. And Jeff Van Gundy is always on cue. Last night he rightfully bitched about the often useless time consuming video reviews. Cripes sports has become so anally retentive with these momentum killing "let's go the videotape" intrusions.

Miami Heat to the finals against the Lakers. Herro, Robinson, Dragic, and Olynyk in the rotation. I wonder if they will need Meyers Leonard (athletic 7 footer with 3 point range) in the finals. The Lakers use 3 centers - Javale McGee, Dwight Howard, and Anthony Davis.

Celtics were up six in the 4th quarter and it looked like they were grabbing control. But before you could blink the Heat came back and then just ran away from them. They spanked them and Herro once again came alive in crunch time. They deserved it. They played better team basketball. Great job by them. Maybe it will be enough to be the Lakers?

Tyler Herro has really stepped up in the playoffs. It had the feel of an epic collapse early in the 4th so its good to see this one avoid a game 7. I cant remember 3 white guys that score in double digits making it to the finals. Theres been 2 several times (76’ers, Mavs, Bulls, Jazz, maybe the Spurs) but this is the most I can remember without going all the way to the Celtics.
