Patriots transitioning to a sumo ladden OL is definitely troubling.. Jon Cooper is a HUGE bust. This guy was a high pick few years ago even though he's short, squatty, slow, and injury prone!

It's another one of those things that seem inexplicable on the surface but are commonplace in the NFL. The sumos the Patriots started last year were awful, and yep Cooper is a bust. At 39 years of age, one big hit could end Tom Brady's career.

Interesting to note the draft history of the Pats recent white WRs:

Edelman drafted in 7th round
Amendola undrafted
Hogan undrafted
Welker undrafted

All of these guys have started for the Pats, one of the best teams in the league.
I think that is obvious evidence of the caste system in football, and also says a lot for Belichek to think outside this 'brain washing'.

I will be in the minority here but due to Bellichek's drafting of a black quarterback and sumo o-line I am sitting the bench on rooting for the Pats until Brady comes back. It's a damn shame Jimmy G. got injured today. Look for a simplified offense and alot of Blount running the ball. Can't cheer for a team with a black quarterback.

They only have Brisset on the roster now, so they have to bring in a veteran. Maybe they will start him instead of Brisset that that would be hard to conceive since the black quarterback has had the last 6 months or whatever to learn the system. It's hard to root against the Patriots with Edelman, Amendola, Hogan, and eventually Gronk back on the field. But the stupidity of talking this generic black quarterback in the draft is mind-boggling. Same with Green Bay and the one they took in the 2015 draft.

I seriously think they're required to draft black quarterbacks.

I think there is pressure on the teams to have AAQBs on their team. I'll never forgot how Tim Tebow had a decent preseason with the Eagles and got cut in favor of a no-name AAQB. I suspect it was due to pressure from above.

Well if you have a vivid imagination and can "suspend disbelief" like watching a movie or pro wrestling you can get some entertainment from the pass game and also the run game. Just picture Blount with white skin and ya got a almost exact copy of Hillis. Its amazing that the only RBs i've seen hurtle people on a regular basis are 230+ LBS power guys like him,Hillis,or Leonard.

I've always thought he was a crap person but he was the 1st guy by Jimmy G's side after the injury and stayed by him, maybe the Billichek way has even rubbed off on "Sucker Punch" Blount?

As long as the new guy can manage a game half ass and not throw INTs they will be OK and even if they go 0-2 next few games Brady is back after that and they finish 1st in division as usual.

New England appears to be going ahead with Jacoby Brisset behind center for their tilt against the Texans this week, and having Julian Edelman as the backup! Should something untoward happen to Brisset, I think it would be cool to see Edelman taking the snaps. We can all hope. Of course, Garappolo is not ruled out, but it would be tough to play with his injury.

I am rooting for Brisset to get knocked out of the game and Edelman take over. That would really be something.

There are already breathless puff pieces out there in the sports media slobbering over him. The Caste Cucks are nothing but predictable.

Well if the black quarterback sucks and the Patriots lose, then that will mean that he is lousy, because we always hear how Bellichick's system is so great and he can just plug any player in there and the system will just keep churning along and winning. That is how they explain how white players who aren't talented and are shunned by the rest of the NFL, somehow succeed in NE. If Brisket can't succeed in this system, then he must be pretty bad.

Joe Webb the second, nothing really upsets me about the QB but the caste system racial politics are evil banality.

Baby Gronk visited with the Pats today let's hope they sign him.

In retrospect it's obvious that Baby Gronk made the Bills because of contract technicalities but I don't get how they didn't him want on the practice squad just in case Felton gets hurt or looks old all of sudden like the reporters were suggesting during the training camp. Just knowing the playbook would put Baby Gronk ahead of the many decent street free-agent fullbacks floating around.

Ps. The Pats have Joey Iosofa who is a decent fullback and even was a bell cow for the hoodie for a game down the stretch last season. I can't see the Pats keeping two fullbacks on the practice squad.

Will Julian Edelman be the Option QB next week?? (at Kent led NCAA QB's w 66 runs 10+ yards).......Or will it be ex QB / TE AJ Derby ?? The Patriots have 10 days to decide....

Brissett has a torn ligament in thumb after just one start...Garrappolo(sprained AC Shoulder joint) is still hurting...Brady serving two more games ....Belichick will find a way to win

Could QB TJ Yates sign or Sean Renfree??

Gronk not 100% healthy...they will continue to increase his production

Chris Long has been a difference maker...when Ninkovich returns...look out! Still hard to believe Sunseri got cut..maybe the injuries were too much to overcome...Nate Ebner could be a Special Team's Pro Bowler this season

Watched an episode of "Ballers" last night and Edelman made an appearance, a bit of a whigger I thought.

The Pats have placed quotablack, Brissett, on IR.

They've also cut perma-injured mega-bust OL, Jonathan Cooper, who they traded away the overrated Chandler Jones to AZ to obtain.

Brady and Ninkovich have both been activated and OT, Sebastian Vollmer, could return from the PUP list any time between Week #7 and Week #12, giving the Pats 20 whites on the active roster.

I'd love to see this lily-white offense, led by a highly-disgruntled Tom Brady, salt the earth and humiliate all-black defenses for the remainder of the season. I think that WR, Chris Hogan, is poised for an explosion in production.

He was wearing a "Tupac" t-shirt last time I saw him being interviewed. Frankly, half the guys we root for here probably fall into that category.

Pats still don't have a complimentary running game? There's a kid from Stanford that could change that. But, nah, of course that's not going to happen. He'll likely go to some black as coal team like Jacksonville where they'll bury him forever. Maybe they should just draft the highest rated black running back and convert him into a full time blocking full back just to piss off the NFL's hoard of boviners.

Despite what appeared to be a bad back injury, reports suggest that Gronk shouldn't miss any time...

http://boston.cbslocal.com/2016/11/...t-expected-to-miss-time-with-new-back-injury/

Gronk's backup, Martellus Bennett, is constantly hampered by injuries. Perhaps that's why they signed a new TE, Matt Lengel...

I saw him on the field for a few snaps yesterday. It would be great if Bennett landed on IR and the 6' 7" Lengel took over the #2 TE spot.

I think Goodell made the Pats put more Black sumos on the line to punish the Patriots for winning too often.

I think Goodell made the Pats put more Black sumos on the line to punish the Patriots for winning too often.

If it weren't for the season-ending hip injury to RT, Sebastian Vollmer, the Pats would still have a 4/5-white starting OL. But yeah, they've inexplicably jettisoned plenty of quality white lineman (Logan Mankins, Nick McDonald, Bryan Stork, Josh Kline, Ryan Wendell, Jordan Devey, Dan Connolly) over the past 3 years, many of whom were long time starters and some were starters on their Superbowl 49 Championship team. Stork had a long history of head/neck injuries and Mankins/Connolly/Wendell were getting old, but I can't explain McDonald/Kline/Devey, who were all in their 20's and played well in NE.

It's really hard to complain about a team like NE, who starts the best QB in NFL history and made his top 4 receiving targets (Hogan, Edelman, Amendola, Gronkowski) white men. This is also a team that allowed a white WR, Edelman, to play CB in 2011-2012. Over the past 10 years, they've also had numerous white players returning punts and kickoffs, a position that observers associate with raw speed. Additionally, they pulled RB Danny Woodhead out of obscurity and made him into the NFL's most electrifying scat back. Same with Wes Welker, probably the most important white WR of his generation.

Defensively, of course, they are as pro-black as another other team, but they had an uptick in white defenders of late.

Another reason to like the organization is the "team culture." Instead of blaring rap/pop songs, they seem to only play classic rock songs through the loudspeakers of Gillette Stadium. Also, Kraft, Belichick, and Brady all openly supported Trump for president...

Brady was more subtle and quiet about his support for Trump, but Kraft and Belichick both openly supported Trump. Belichick even wrote Trump a congratulatory letter just before the election. Kraft has long been angered by the Russophobia in our government and has also been a general critic of our foreign policy, so it makes sense that he would support Trump.
