Some big news already for the upcoming week. First the bad, Brandon Wheedon has been demoted and career scrub Jason Campbell has been named the starter.

In Minnesota, Josh Freeman is said to have a concussion and it is questionable if he will start. I'm guessing it's more shell shock than concussion. :scared:

Yes how convenient Freeman magically gets diagnosed with a concussion two days after laying that dud.

Looks like a wash, but with Vick coming back, we could be up to 7(8?) black quarterbacks again this week. I hope Jason Campbell stinks it up, and he most likely will.

In all fairness, Weeden is just not a very good quarterback. This was clearly proven when Brian Hoyer took over and won 2 games with the exact same team, but unfortunately got hurt. The Browns are back to being terrible again with Weeden and now Campbell. The bad news is that if they continue to struggle, it means they'll have a high draft position and in the mix for next draft's black quarterback sweepstakes. Maybe they could surprise us and draft Johnny Football.

this is a good opportunity for ponder to recapture the starting job and restrict freeman to backup status.

I have a feeling Cleveland will end up darkening the qb position because if my memory serves right the gm lombardi drooled over black quarterbacks when he wrote for nfl.com

I've heard Jeff Garcia requested a tryout for the Browns

Nice catch and run by Leonard. I guess he's not going to get any carries. TB center hurting QB Glennon by snapping ball to Glennon's knees. He's 6'7, please get the ball up. From what I've seen, Glennon is playing pretty good. Announcers calling him sneaky athletic earlier.:der:

The NFL Network generally has on-air studio crews of 3 blacks (who comprise 1/8 of the population) and a token White or Jew. The halftime show for this game consisted of 3 Jews (1/50 of the population). This is Richard Lapchickian "diversity" at its finest -- have wildly disproportionate amounts of blacks and Jews while every other group (Whites, Asians, hispanics) is wildly under-represented -- and it's sure to get an A+ grade from Commissar Lapchick and his comrades in the media.

The Jew is usually the Comedy Club amateur night failure who leads the various high school substitute teacher joke sessions....

Tampa Bay clearly has quit playing for its now wildly unpopular coach. Schiano has become a huge public enemy, after he "disrespected" black quarterback Freeman, and replaced him with a non-black quarterback.

Scam appears to be eerily mistake-free now, and the odious Panthers will be above .500 on the season, for this first time since 2008, as the drooling "journalists" have reminded us numerous times.

Nothing to like in this snorefest, electronic love letter to Scam. World Series not much better, as we're treated to a ridiculous "Boston Strong" tribute during the seventh inning stretch, right after the Red Sox give the game away with some of the worst "professional" defense in history.

How is Ted Ginn an NFL starting WR? Could anyone have done more to earn a "bust" status? There are probably hundreds of white high school WRs with more talent. Ridiculous.

How's the World Series not better? It's a virtual whitefest. There's more White guys out there then at a hockey game. It looks like a Bruins/Blues game. Heck I think the Bruins have more blacks then the Red Sox.

I put myself through about ten minutes of torture, trying to see how much of this blackfest I could endure. Not thirty seconds could go by without Mayock or the other idiot in the booth salivating over Scam. This is all about him. No one else matters.

Why, by the way, is this black quarterback still in the shotgun on every play, when his team has this kind of lead? Why is he still passing 2 out of every 3 downs? This is stat padding at its most obvious.

And yes, the World Series is much better, but I happen to be a big Red Sox fan.

It's a two run game in the ninth. That's worth watching. If they get a guy on in that ball park???

Nice play and athletic move from QB Glennon. A glimpse of what he can do if given time.

Bucs get the onside kick!

All off-season we heard that the defensive coordinators were the smartest guys on earth, and that they were going to stop the running qb's. They effectively mindf*cked Kaepernick, RGIII, and Cam (actually Ron Rivera) into abandoning the read option they'd been running their whole lives, and becoming pocket passers.

Russell Wilson was the only one still committed to running, and breezed to a 6-1 start. The other guys noticed that, started running again, and are now confusing defenses just as easily as they did last year.

Wilson's won 6 of his last 7
Kaepernick's won 4 of his last 4
Newton's won 3 of his last 3 (would have been 5 of his last 6 had it not been for EJ Manuel's last second floater week 2)
RGIII's won 2 of his last 3

That's 15 wins in their last 17 games, and with no ending in sight. In their next games, Kaep plays Jacksonville, Wilson plays St Louis, RGIII plays Denver, and Cam plays Atlanta. They'll have won 18 of their last 21 after those 4.

I'm afraid GM's will be salivating over the next batch of spread qb's on the horizon come draft time.

How about all the white QBs playing well troll? hmm? You are either a black racist or a sissified white male with no sense of pride or self worth.

I don't remember ever hearing defensive coordinators were the smartest guys at their own DINNER tables, let alone Earth.

If they were smarter they'd draft more decent players of ANY color, and not a bunch of incompetent coverage-blowers who allow 30 points in a game.

Anyway your post kind of highlights that the quarterback is the important player on the offense in the way that you say various Black quarterbacks "won".

—Because they got no help, right? The other 10 guys just stood there whacking off, right?

I'll play your game. You chose the weapons, anyway.

Therefore, last week, the week before that, and every week before that dating to the 1920s, and most likely every week henceforth until the NFL implodes from its own failed petri dish Black QB experiment, this White quarterback won, that White quarterback won, so did this one, and that one, and that one there.

If they lost it was their fault, and if they won it's because they're the man. Football is a quarterback fight and the other players are irrelevant.

Therefore, from now on, every time a Black quarterback loses, he lost. Not his team. No blame shifting. It's him.

None of that "he's new" bullsh*t or "he's learning the system," crap or "his line let him down."

Ha. Yeah right.

Such a point of view takes away he Black parachute privilege. And that's the only way they should be playing quarterback, in most cases.

Because of excuses, whining, blame shifting, blah, blah, blah. Black quarterback playing "Black?" As in, he SUCKS?

Bail him out.

Give him an excuse. He didn't lose. His team lost.

Oh, please.

Bottom line is, White quarterbacks have set a precedent of elitism that Blacks can hardly aspire to. Therefore the standard has to change so that the "White" way is wrong or obsolete, and the Black way (the stupider one) is the way of the future.

I can see it happening. People are dumber today than they were 60 years ago. A seventh grader from the 40s is probably as "smart" as a high school graduate today.

Great post, and very true. Every time a black quarterback wins all we hear is how HE won the game with his suppa affleticism. BUT, every time they lose all we hear is how HE didn't have time to learn the offense, or his coach hasn't developed him enough, or he doesn't have a good running back, or he has a nagging injury, or he's too affletic for his own good!

The fact that this is only obvious to a small % of NFL watchers really does show how dumbed down this country has become. Sad really

There is a pretty good article on NFL.com about Peyton Hillis wanting to expand his role in the Giants offense. The comments are the usual mixed bag with your typical DWFs chiming in.......the comments section could probably use a little love from CFers. One commenter came out and just said there is overt discrimination against white RBs at the college and NFL level.

This troll if he survived more than 8 posts would have shown charts about his hero's exploits. He loves to post in the basketball forum, track and field and of course football. He will be back and probably has names ready to be activated. I find it funny how this is probably his main hobby trolling this forum.....:dizzy:

The Broncos are benching their scatback Hillman this week as a result of a fumble in the Indianapolis game. From a caste perspective, it makes no difference as his replacement is some dime-a-dozen scrub, but it's always refreshing to see a bruva get the "white player zero margin for error" treatment.:clap2: On the other hand, that means that Manning is stuck with Slowshon Moreno and the nameless scrub, when Hillman is probably the best runner. Serves them right, though, for cutting Jacob Hester.

Actually Football Dad, Hillman has been a serial fumbler as has Montee Ball. That's why they've turned to the latest great black hope (an undrafted free agent) this week in the hopes that he'll be able to back up Knowshon Moreno without not only not fumbling but also preventing Peyton Manning from being seriously injured by knowing the rudiments of pass protection.

Hillman and Ball were both high draft choices; odds are the undrafted free agent will be better than both, just as many White running backs if given a chance would be better than many highly touted black RBs, Trent Richardson being a great example. And even Knowshon Moreno himself is another first round bust who is finally playing half decent this season, meaning he knows how to pass protect and is a pretty good receiver, a relative rarity among black RBs, but he's far from a topnotch runner.
