2012 Fired Coaches

Here's a list (so far) of coaches that have been let go:

Arkansas - John L. Smith
Auburn - Gene Chizik
Boston College - Frank Spaziani
California - Jeff Tedford
Colorado - Jon Embree
Purdue - Danny "Black" Hope (yes I know, technically, he's "White", but loved mudsharking in Florida for recruits)
Tennessee - Derek Dooley

Outside of Spaziani (who was just not a very good coach, although he was White-friendly in recruiting) they are all pretty much Caste whores, especially with Chizik. Not that Chizik's replacement will be any more White-friendly in the Caste-ridden, racist (anti-White) SEC. I wonder what team Chizik will pollute next, like he polluted Iowa St before moving on to Auburn. It's looking like the NCAA is about to charge them with some major infractions, so I'm hoping that scares other Universities away from taking a chance on him. Hopefully, he'll just take his $7.5M buyout and retire early. Good riddance.

Tedford used to be fairly White-friendly, but his team this year was pretty much an unwatchable coal-fest (and not very good, either...coincidence?). He even bought into the hype and started a halflete at QB this year. What? Didn't Aaron Rogers create the necessary profile and template of what makes for a successful QB while he was at California? Or Chris Conte or Mike Mohamed at their respective positions? How quickly he forgot...or was brainwashed.

Embree seemed like he was being fair with White players, but then last year's and next year's recruiting classes weren't, ignoring some of the very good White talent in Colorado. He let Wyoming grab a 3-star (White) DL from Colorado without a fight (or an offer). Athough, to be fair, neither did SEC-loving CSU coach McElwain. I think Embree bought into the conventional "wisdom" that having a black team automatically meant having a successful team. Probably suffering from the "McCartney Affect". Didn't he learn anything from Harbaugh when he met with him to see how he was able to establish very successful (and White-friendly) teams while at Stanford? First rule of thumb is to secure your borders and get the best players from your state to come play for you. I guess he was too busy scouting Washington D.C., Texas, and California for "real athletes" instead of going after the plethora of in-state talent that was equal or better.

Don't know much about Smith or Dooley, although it seemed as though Dooley was more open to recruiting White players than any other Tennessee coach in recent memory, especially in comparison to one of the ultimate Caste-whore coaches of all time, Phillip Fulmer, whom I've read may again be considered for the vacant Tennessee job.

I knew, the appropriately named, Joker Phillips was fired at Kentucky which promoted me to search further. I found this site that's keeping an updated tally of coaching changes.

The other coaches ran lousy, caste programs so none of them will be missed.

Tedford started out as a miracle worker. He really turned Cal (usually a mediocre program) around his first few years. There was even talk of an NFL job. I know the last few years he hasn't been able to find a good QB, and that certainly didn't help.

Here's what jock-sniffer supreme McCartney had to say today:

Bill McCartney takes to airwaves to blast Colorado firing Jon Embree

Former Colorado football coach Bill McCartney on Tuesday afternoon blasted university officials for firing Jon Embree after two seasons at the school.

McCartney, who coached Embree in the 1980s and helped get Embree hired at Colorado, went on ESPN 102.3 FM and read a prepared letter to the Colorado administration and CU fans which castigated the move.

After he read the letter, McCartney said the school did not give Embree, who is black, as much opportunity to succeed as they would have given a white coach. McCartney said the reason he was given more than two years to work through losing seasons at CU was because he's white.

"Honestly, I believe it's because I'm Caucasian. I believe black men have less opportunity, shorter time if you will,"McCartney said.

"It's just like, Dan Hawkins got five full years. Why not give Jon Embree five years? You signed him to a five-year contract.

"Men of color have a more difficult road to tread. It didn't happen to me. Why should it happen to a black man?"

McCartney went 7-25-1 in his first three seasons, including 1-10 in his third year (1984), before turning around the program. He went 7-5 in 1985, and took the team to bowl games in nine of his final 10 seasons. Embree was 4-21 in his two seasons.

"I heard the chancellor (Phil DiStefano) said it didn't matter what color Jon was. I think that offends every person of color out there," McCartney said. "This guy can match wits with any white guy out there. He's the real deal.

During Monday's news conference, DiStefano said: "We didn't hire Jon because he's an African-American, and we didn't fire Jon because he is an African-American."

In his letter, McCartney called for CU fans to rally and tell the administration they made a mistake and to bring back Embree. "Men and women of Colorado, don't let this happen. It's wrong. Please stand up and be counted," he read from the letter.

McCartney also said Colorado, because it fired Embree, will have a more difficult time recruiting black players, no matter who the new coach is.

"You can't go get the black athlete, not after you completely compromised your integrity with this guy (Embree)," McCartney said.

He said Embree was put in a no-win situation when he was hired with such an unbalanced roster.

"He was doing it the right way. Did he play too many young guys right away? Yeah — because the roster was bankrupt," McCartney said. "It's not fair."

McCartney, 72, was 93-55-5 in 13 seasons (1982-94) at Colorado before retiring to direct his Promise Keepers program. The Buffs won the co-national championship in 1990, ranking No. 1 in the final Associated Press poll.

Before Embree was hired, McCartney interviewed for the head coaching position and offered to take the brunt of the lean years that he knew CU had coming, then turn the program over to Embree or another coach.

"The reason I offered to coach there was I could see this coming," McCartney said. "I interviewed with that statement. They weren't interested."

The one thing to be concerned about with coaches is what there background is - if they come from a certain team or run a certain offense it will very well tell if they go the black quarterback route.

I just read that Clemson's offensive coordinator is getting looked at for the NC St job - at Clemson he coaches a black quarterback and it very may well carry over to this job or any other job he would take. Same goes for any other coach so its something to be aware of.

These types of coaches are going to be spreading to other colleges and bringing there beloved black quarterbacks with them :der:

NC State hired Dave Doeren from NIU. Hopefully he keeps Harnish and Lynch in his memory when recruiting at NC State.

Another Caste-whore coach gets canned...Skip Holtz of South Florida.

Idaho fired Rob Akey. They've replaced him with Paul Petrino..

Nice to see Holtz get ****canned. I think South Florida is going to be a bottom dweller for awhile. Having Matt Grothe at QB a few years back was their high point.
