White pitchers

[Poacher]

Was just checking out the MLB stats and saw that white pitchers are
dominating the game this year. Something like 9 out of the
top 10 in every category were white.



Also, isn't it interesting how the media has dropped Dontrelle
Willis? No criticism, no insults...he's just given a pass on his
performance. I'm sure as soon as he turns it around he'll be
right back on the front page. If Roger Clemons hit a slump we'd never
hear the end of it.

One more thing. The first time I heard the name Scott Podsednik
was when I visited this site. ESPN simply pretends that he
doesn't exist.

Spot on, poacher. Welcome to the board. Isn't it amazing that we have all-time great pitchers like Maddox, Clemens, and Johnson reaching millstones and still still having great seasons. Yet all we here about is Dontrelle Willis. Think he'll still be pitching when he is 40? Fat chance.

The majority of white pitchers are consistent. These Latin ballplayers have great talent, but I shake my head to their lack of consistency! There is always exceptions(i.e. Pedro Martinez)

And don't forget middle relievers!! They're very important in todays game. You really need 3 guys to hold a ball games for your closer. I know the White Sox mostly rely on 2 relief pitchers Cliff Polite and Neal Cotts.
