I think the NCAA should change this rule now that I am thinking about rules. A QB can be dropping back and slip and easily get up with no one near him,but they call him down. Also, a return man can touch a knee down inadvertently when they are fielding the ball and they are down on the 2 yard line and no one is near him either. They should use the NFL rule.
Also, I hate when they call a personal foul for hitting a guy out of bounds when the runner just steps out and the defensive guy is running full speed and can't judge where the out of bounds is and hits the runner. There are blatant hits out of bounds, but many are so close you have to give the defender the benefit of the doubt.
