I would rather have seen him play football, but can't blame him for his decision. He signed a five year deal for 10 million including 2 1/2 for signing. He saw what happened to Mike Hass, who got chump change, hasn't played a down and may never be heard from again.

I hope he drew hansen's his career.I can't wait until he is thirty and still in the minors. I hope the cardinals never win another world series. this is by far the worst day of my life. Now I am going to cook up a steaming pile of something for the cardinals to eat and hopefully they will die.

Samardzija throws a 97 mph fastball. I doubt he'll be in the minors long.
And also, it is the Cubs farm system he will be in.

I think its great for Jeff. He'll make more money playing baseball, and
probably stay healthier and play longer too. Smart decision.

For his personal well being, this is a great decision. This is where the money is without the beating a football player takes. The money is guaranteed, and as a WR it isn't like he'll lose his skills if he decides to come back to the gridiron.
