20-year old Ivan Ukhov jumps 7-10 at indoor meet in Russia. At the same meet, Mikhail Egorychev won the 60 meters in 6.60 (Yespishin wasn't there). Oli Fasuba of Nigeria was second in 6.63 and Morne Nagel was third in 6.67.

Not unless living standards raise significantly. Russia is 3rd world country these days, with all the problems that brings.

Morne Nagel also ran good over the weekend. He ran a 6.67 in the 60 meters race.He has really struggled since 2002 so this is quite an improvement.Morne might just make some noise again as the season progresses. He has always been one of the quickest starters in the world.I expect him to get down into the high 6.5 range within a few weeks.
