If there wasn't such a bias against relievers- or if
he'd been a minority- Foulke probably would've
gotten it. The Red Sox pitchers were the most
dominant performers in the World Series. They're
the ones who shut down the Cardinals' offense for
three straight games.
And how about all the criticism aimed at Edmonds,
Rolen, and Larussa, and not Pujols? Pujols is
considered one of the top two or three hitters in the
game, and he did not get one RBI in the World
Series. But it's only the white men who get blamed.
