Other than the NBA draft info's, not much is known about this guy. I did see him in action during the Beijing Olympics, and my impression: he is very RAW!
He does not seem to have a post-up game, has no jump-shot, looked awkward and uncoordinated, not to mention a poor free throw shooter. He did not seem to have any desire to have the ball and go for a shot, and he was having trouble getting a rebound. Dirk was a better player at the same age and all. Excuse me for being harsh on this guy.
I have looked extensively for his profile in European Basketball webs and from what I have seen, he has a LONG way to go. I picture him more like Marc Gasol, in terms of development. He might not have a good shot at the NBA for another 3 or 4 years with the way he is as of now. It'll be a bleak time for German Basketball.
