The North won the game.It was a fun game to watch with
Matt Jones catching a touchdown in his first game as a
receiver.Bill Swancutt was flying all over the field
making tackle after tackle. He also had 2 sacks and was
the defensive player of the game. With him,Cody, and a
few others,we will see some more defensive stars on
Sundays soon. I hope Matt Jones is given a look at qb
at the nfl.If they do keep him at receiver,I hope they
bring him along slowly. It usually takes a while to pick
up the art of running routes. He can be a star at either
position.

Jones might want to be drafted late in a round, so
he can play for a good team. On a good team, he will have a less
important initial role than on a lousy team. This can give him
time to learn from the starters.

There's a good chance the Titans will part ways with Derrick Mason because of his high salary. Even if they don't they'll be looking for help at wide receiver. Could you imagine Drew Bennett and Matt Jones starting on the same team? With their height and athletic ability it would be awesome. But would Tennessee dare to do it?

Good question Don. It will be interesting to see what transpires over the next couple of months. I will be watching some of the other guys we've been talking about too. What day is the draft anyway?

The draft is April 23 and 24. The Titans tied with the Rams as the least anti-white NFL teams in 2004. But that is still expecting an awful lot for any team to defy the rules of the caste system in such an obvious way. We can hope anyway. The way the NFL is Jones might not even be drafted.

tenessee has alot of white player even though many aren't yet starters. alot of them are youg and developing. i think they are one of the few teams that would take that chance.

I hope they do take the chance and give someone a go at it. Tennessee is fun to watch, even with fellow Mississippian McNair at QB. Maybe he will retire and give Billy Volek the position. I hope Tennessee keeps Gary Anderson on for another year. I want to see him play past George Blanda's record, which will take three more seasons.
