i konw there are past threads on the subject of the so called "not enough blacks in baseball" bs but a recent black happy article in SI re: Tampa Bay takes the cake. In it Carl Crawford mentions the need for blacks to root for as his friends didn't care for the too white" astros. Why the media plays this game is a mystery. If whites said the same in reverse they would be shot to death. Again the white postion players is probably the group in biggest decline why doesn't SI bitch about that?
