Why should we care if this **tch is offended? Must we always bow and scrape before the chosen? I'm so sick of these whiningweasels!!

The sign at McDonald's on the corner of Falls of Neuse and Spring Forest Road reads: "Merry Christmas, Jesus is the Reason for the Season." It is a holiday message that Amanda Alpert thinks comes on a little too strongly.

"It offends me because it specifically talks about Jesus, Merry Christmas. It doesn't give credit to anyone else," Alpert said.

Alpert called the McDonald's corporate office in Atlanta and requested that the sign be changed to the politically correct Happy Holidays. The response was the owner has the right to do what she wants with the sign.

"I care because I'm Jewish, and the reason for the season is upsetting to me," Alpert said.

Its a good thing that McDonald's is a franchise and independently owned and operated, or else he'd have been forced to take it down.

I wonder if we will be able to complain about individual Muslims and Jews who own stores and require they not post any statements of personal beliefs in their storefront windows? There are numerous businesses where I live in which the owners advertise scripture and holiday slogans prominently on their business signs, and I see nothing wrong with it. Its their, uh, business.

Whilethe ever duplicitous Jewswork to remove every vestige of Christianity from this country, they actively promotetheir -unique-cultural and religious ideals at our expense.Notice how our representatives vote in lock step, not one with the courage to tell them to stuff it.

Jewish History Month proposal up to president
The House of Representatives approved a resolution Thursday calling on the president to proclaim January as Jewish History Month.

The Jewish history resolution was sponsored by U.S. Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, a Weston Democrat who represents Broward and Miami-Dade counties and happens to be the first Jewish congresswoman from Florida.

She envisions classroom instruction, public ceremonies and broadcast announcements similar to those for black and women's history months in February and March. Whether Jewish History Month would gain that level of national acceptance and participation depends on whether it is embraced by schools and other educational institutions.

''There's a generation of children growing up with a fading memory of what happened during World War II or even an understanding of anyone who is Jewish or their culture and traditions,'' said Wasserman Schultz in a telephone interview shortly after the 423-0 vote in the House of Representatives.

The Jewish history resolution naturally raises questions about commemorative months for other religious groups.

Gary Cass, executive director of the Center for Reclaiming America, a national Christian organization based in Fort Lauderdale, said he supported any group's efforts to celebrate its heritage. But just as he and other Christian conservatives object to secular celebrations of Christmas, he objects to teaching Jewish history without talk of religious practices and values. ''We cannot seem to have an honest discussion about the Christian roots of America,'' he said. ``How much tolerance would [Congresswoman Wasserman Schultz] have for a Christian Heritage month?''

Judaism is unique, Wasserman Schultz said, because it is both a culture and a religion. She said she would not support teaching any religion in public schools.

I'll accept that Jews are offended by the very word "Christmas" when
they stop using the word for advertising and sales purposes in the
many, many businesses they own. Apparently, none of them are offended
enough to stop making profits from Christmas.

Activist Judge Cancels Christmas

WASHINGTON, DCâ€â€￾In a sudden and unexpected blow to the Americans working to protect the holiday, liberal U.S. 9th Circuit Court of Appeals Judge Stephen Reinhardt ruled the private celebration of Christmas unconstitutional Monday.

Per the court order, city workers take down the Christmas tree from New York's Rockefeller Plaza.
"In accordance with my activist agenda to secularize the nation, this court finds Christmas to be unlawful," Judge Reinhardt said. "The celebration of the birth of the philosopher Jesusâ€â€￾be it in the form of gift-giving, the singing of carols, fanciful decorations, or general good cheer and warm feelings amongst familiesâ€â€￾is in violation of the First Amendment principles upon which this great nation was founded."

In addition to forbidding the celebration of Christmas in any form, Judge Reinhardt has made it illegal to say "Merry Christmas." Instead, he has ruled that Americans must say "Happy Holidays" or "Vacaciones Felices" if they wish to extend good tidings.

Within an hour of the judge's verdict, National Guard troops were mobilized to enforce the controversial ruling.

"Sorry, kids, no Christmas this year," Beloit, WI mall Santa Gene Ernot said as he was led away from his Santa's Village in leg irons. "Write to your congressman to put a stop to these liberal activist judges. It's up to you to save Christmas! Ho ho ho!"

Said Pvt. Stanley Cope, who tasered Ernot for his outburst: "We're fighting an unpopular war on Christmas, but what can we do? The military has no choice but to take orders from a lone activist judge."

Across America, the decision of the all-powerful liberal courts was met with shock and disappointment, as American families quietly took down their holiday decorations and canceled their plans to gather and make merry.

"They've been chipping away at Christmas rights for decades," Fox News personality John Gibson said. "Even before this ruling, you couldn't hear a Christmas song on the radio or in a department store. I hate to say it, America, but I told you so."

Judge Stephen Reinhardt of the U.S. 9th Circuit of Appeals issues his ruling.
Gibson then went into hiding, vowing to be a vital part of the Christmas resistance that would eventually triumph and bring Christmas back to the United States and its retail stores.

The ban is not limited to the retail sector. In support of Reinhardt's ruling, Sen. Ted Kennedy, a Jew, introduced legislation that would mandate the registration of every Christian in the United States and subject their houses to random searches to ensure they are not celebrating Christmas.

"Getting rid of every wreath or nativity scene is not enough," Kennedy said. "In order to ensure that Americans of every belief feel comfortable in any home or business, we must eliminate all traces of this offensive holiday. My yellow belly quakes with fear at the thought of offending any foreigners, atheists, or child molesters."

America's children are bearing the brunt of Reinhardt's marginal, activist rulings.

"Why did the bad man take away Christmas?" 5-year-old Danny Dover said. "I made a card for my mommy out of paper and glue, and now I can't give it to her."

Shortly after Dover issued his statement, police kicked down his door, removed his holiday tree, confiscated his presents, and crushed his homemade card underfoot.

A broad, bipartisan coalition of lawmakers has been working closely with the White House, banding together in the hope of somehow overruling the decision. So far, however, their efforts have been fruitless.

"Our hearts go out to the Americans this ruling affects," Sen. Chip Pickering (R-MS) said. "If it's any condolence, I wish you all a Happy Holidays, which, I'm afraid, is all I'm legally allowed to say at this time."

i have nothing against Jewish people, or any particular people for that matter, i am atheist but long ago i understood that christan religion is the predominant one and some symbols (even X-Mas, the tree and so many others) derive from long gone times of paganism and have just been adopted by the church and some are way beyond that now...
i celebrate X-Mas and my kid will expect his gifts from Santa Claus
i have nothing against that at all, and i really don't see how people can be THAT sensitive about their religion as to be offended by some trivial display...

State Attorney General Dana Nessel (D-MI) had a public meltdown over the weekend after President Trump wished his supporters a “Merry Christmas.”

While campaigning in Georgia on behalf of two Republicans who appear to be in two tight U.S. Senate races that will determine control of that chamber, Trump said to his massive crowd:

Let me begin by wishing you all a very Merry Christmas. Remember the word? Remember we started five years ago and I said “You’re going to be saying Christmas again,” and we say it proudly again although they’ll be trying to take that word again out of the vocabulary. We’re not going to let them do that.

In a now deleted tweet, Neurotic Nessel completely freaked out over this with a tweet that reeks in equal parts of desperate insecurity and seething intolerance:

I remember the first time I was at a store with my son and an employee said “Merry Christmas” to us. My son looked devastated as asked “Are we the only people who don’t celebrate Christmas?” I answered “No, and we are just as American as everyone else.” Glad @JoeBiden knows that. https://t.co/o1QyZy5sWX
