Despite the unending racism that whites direct at blacks

here's a black man that has managed to overcome it all and be a "leader". Steven Jackson of the Warriors was named team captain. He earned the title by charging into the crowd to fight with fans in the infamous Pacers/Pistons incident, and he once fired a gun into the air in the stadium parking lot. Those types of actions usually signal that one is NOT captain material, but that is only in the world of commonsense which no longer exists.

Interestingly the article starts with him calling his coach an "older white guy" to laughing approval of Don Nelson an older white guy who has never met an ex black felon he didn't like (that could play basketaball). One imagines if a white player referred to his coach as an older black guy he would be playing in the Italian league within a week.

Say what you want about Don Nelson but he saw the talent and potential stardom in Nowitzki and Nash long before anybody else did and took the heat for drafting Dirk and trading for Steve and gave them the opportunity to become the stars and arguably the top two players in the NBA.I grant you that Nelson choosing Steven Jackson as captain of your basketball team is quite foolish and it's a decision he will regret one day.
