Domenik Peterson of the ASU Sun Devils is having one
heck of a year.He has already qualified for the 200 and
400 ncaa finals. He could just be another Jeremy Wariner.
He seems to get better all the time and is only a
sophmore.Good luck to him the rest of the season.

I'm excited to see what Domenik Peterson can do in both the 200 and the 400 meters this season. He ran a 10.5 in the 100 meters in high school and is significantly faster now.Maybe we will see a few races over that distance too.He ran a wind legal 20.43 last year for ASU.They also have another elite white sprinter by the name of Steve Koehnemann. Both of these guys should have very good seasons as long as they stay healthy!Go Devils!

Peterson won the 100m at the ASU invitational with a 10.51. This is a week after he won the 100m last week with a NCAA Regional qualifying 10.47. Not bad for a 200/400 meter guy. Way to go!!Edited by: SteveB

Domenik continued his winning ways at the Sun Angel Classic with a win in the 200 meters. He ran a 20.86 to easily take the win.He could have probably gone alot faster but he is rounding into good form for the Ncaa Championships in May/June. I am kind of disapointed to not see Steve Koehnemann running much this season. He seems to be the forgoten man. It's too bad he couldn't continue the success he had in high school. He holds the Arizona High School Record in the sprints.Edited by: white lightning

Good job Domenik! That should put him in the top 10 nationally. We have Jared Connaughton, Travis Picou, and Domenik all in the top 10. Wow!!

Another big day for Peterson last weekend in Tuscon,AZ.He won 3 events.Domenik won the 100 in a time of 10.47,the 200 in 20.75 and anchored the 4 x 400 Relay
Team home to victory. This kid is such an all around outstanding sprinter. His upside is really good.I see him being another A.Rock type with the right training.Keep it up Domenik.Go Sun Devils!!

Domenik won the 100 in 10.54 and the 200 in 20.70 this weekend. He also was on the winning 4 x 100 relay team.Peterson is only a junior and I'm hoping he can eventually regain his form of last year.He holds the indoor school record in the 200 with a 20.40!He has the talent but just has had trouble getting back up to that next level.

Domenik missed the Pac 10 championships (injury I think), but hopefully will compete in the Western regionals. He is currently the 13th fastest 400m collegian with a time of 45.99, and the 14th fastest 200m collegian with a time of 20.70.
