The best player on the Indians is right now the best in baseball for this week. He looks kind of like actor Vin Diesel and is built like him too. He's a farmboy from Sykestown, North Dakota pop. 400. Hafner got screwed out of the all-star game by scumbag manager Terry Francona. I mean how the heck do you pick Shea Hillenbrand over this guy. He's only 27 years old and will have his second consecutive 25+ HR and 100+ RBI this year. His concentration at the plate is so amazing it reminds of Albert Belle. He will be the best DH in the AL and one of the best hitters of years to come.

Yeah he tore the cover off the freaking ball yesterday. I don't know
why Wedge "gave him a day off" tonight. IMO this is why we lost, since
when does a DH need a day off?

Yeah, his numbers are too good to be left out, but who made the team from the Indians if not him?

Francona's big mistake is not allowing Haffner to be
nominated as the 32nd man. Shea is a popular player in Boston
still; Maybe that could have had an impact. Plus, the All Star
game is not an All-Most Valuable Player Game, but a popularity
contest. It can be hard at time for DH's to become popular.

Hafner now on pace for 35 HRs 112 RBI and not to mention a .317 BA. Watch out Ortiz, Hafner is passing you up as the best DH in the game.

I agree whiteCB, Hafner should of been in this line-up. Probably, should of been a starter even. I don't know maybe the fan's in NL just not aware of this guy.
