Here is another gem athlete out west. 6'8" PF out of Weber State who just qualified for NCAA's. Was conference POY. He will be competing in the college slam dunk contest and is a former VB player who can really jump. Like Jaycee Carroll and some BYU guys there are some hidden gems out west. BTW catch both Carroll and BYU tonight. BYU on VS and Utah State on ESPN2. I think UCLA was recruiting Patten but not hard I guess.

He may be mistaken for black b/c he has the same name as a former black NY Giants receiver who went to the Patriots and started. I originally thoughy you were talking about the NFL guy!
