I love Clark. There is no question that, if he were black, he'd be on
the field for every play and Marcus Pollard's playing time would be
severly limited. Despite obviously being one of the fastest TEs in the
NFL, Clark was ridiculed by the NFL channel's Rod Woodson last Sunday.
While showing highlights of a long catch he'd made to set up a
touchdown, Woodson called him "Crazy Legs" and joked about how slow he
was moving on the play. I was incensed! Clark made a beautiful run
after the catch, and there is no way that Woodson or anyone else would
have cut down Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzalez like that. Clark somehow
had enough speed to produce an 80 yard TD play earlier this season,
something Gates, Gonzalez and every other black TE failed to do
this year (or any recent year). What an obvious double standard!
