Carlos Cuadras

He's age 28, his record is 35-0-1 and he appears to be full-blooded Spanish.

He's fighting Roman Gonzalez on HBO this coming Saturday, defending his WBC World super flyweight title.

Carlos gave a great account, but Chocalitito won 8 rounds in my eyes. Carlos was too herky jerky in the beginning, ran too much. Consequently did not sit down on his punches, a lot of arm punches. Great fight. Chocolaitito a mini GGG.

I scored it a draw. Roy Jones was fair in his commentary, but as usual Max Kellerman was rooting for the guy with the darker skin and verbally fellating him.

Lederman said Gonzalez landed the harder, more effective punches, but their faces after the fight told a different story.

I thought Choclatito's better skills won a close fight. It seemed in too many rounds Caudros let Choclatito dictate the flow of the round and rallied late in the fight. In terms of handspeed Caudras seemed to have the faster guns but was too judicial in his work rate.
