Saskatchewan Roughrider Trevis Smith is facing a count of aggravated sexual assault, and the RCMP is taking the unusual step of revealing that the suspect is HIV-positive.
An allegation from 2004 sparked an investigation by police in Surrey, British Columbia.
"Several months ago we received a complaint of sexual assault. We investigated and it has resulted one count of aggravated sex assault against Trevis Smith," said Surrey RCMP Constable Marc Searle.Edited by: Johnny
